About Me

My photo
Alicante, Spain
Hi. I live in Spain with my partner. I am retired and LOVE it. I love life here but I do miss my family back in the UK, two sons and three sisters and my Mum. Crafting is my life, I do something every single day. In the past it has helped me get through some bad times in my life. One such bad time was when my first grandson died aged just 14 months. He had been born 8 weeks prem but was very healthy and was growing into a beautiful, bonny boy. It was such a shock when the call came. A day never passes when I dont think of him. I am now Nanna again to grand daughter, Hollie, born July 2012, and Tess born March 2016. This is my younger son and his partner. I now have another Grandson, Noah, born Nov 2013 to my elder Son and they have 3 daughters Aurora, born March 2015 and Arabella, born August 2017 and Arianna born 2019. Thanks for visiting and I hope you enjoy my makes. Please leave a comment so that I know you have visited me. I love reading them all. xxxx

Autumn Glory for Allsorts

Good Morning All

Allsorts Challenge this week is hosted by Brenda, our team leader.
The theme is 'Autumn Glory'
I went with this digi from ?????
Now I dont really do much colouring these days as I dont find it very relaxing but I have had to do that many Autumn/ Fall cards for Dt work, I needed something different to use.
I used up all the scraps of CE Leaf Mosaic embossed card, matted them onto Autumnal shades of card - Brown, Orange, yellow.

I took afew pics this morning while walking Rico, it is lovely, nearly time for a cardigan though, but lovely clear skies this morning.

This one was looking back towards our apartment, just before the sun popped over the horizon.

These two are the other way towards the mountains, the colours of the sky was gorgeous.
The grey of the mountain, then purple to pink to orange/yellow then pale blue
The pics dont bring out the full colours, so gorgeous.

I am so glad it's not just me Wendy, people are always telling me colouring is relaxing, but I don't find it so, in fact I find it stressful, hence the inkiness. But this is a great image for my theme this week, thanks so much.

Hi Wendy this is a gorgeous card that is a lovely image you have used. I find colouring very time consuming and one little thing can ruin what you are doing. I love your photos. Have a great weekend. Take care. Hugs Jackie

It's a beautiful card Wendy! You've colored the image beautifully. I enjoy coloring, but it can get stressful for me at times too, because I feel like I have no time.
The sunset looks gorgeous!
