AG for Crafty Ribbons

 Good Morning All

I made this card for my Crafty Ribbons post using their a very small piece of their Sentiment ribbon. HERE

Simply attached it to a can tab with a pearl flower.

I used shades of pink card, some embossed with CE Butterflies folder and the image is from a company called Nicecrane, I have done a search for them but dont think they are in business anymore as I have had this for a very long time.

Rainbow Colours for Allsorts

 Good Morning All

The challenge over at Allsorts this week is chosen by Kath and it is

Use 3 Colours from the Rainbow.

Now if you dont know the exact colours here they are

 Colours of the rainbow are Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet.

I made two Groovi cards and the first one uses Orange Yellow and Green.

The topper is parchment too.

This is a large card for me, 8x8, so I will be giving it to someone here in Spain.

I am trying to use my pieces of parchment that I have cut the middles from.

Look closely at the pic above.

I know its there others probably wouldn't see it.

I made a mistake on this one when I was piercing so I stuck a large butterfly on, I was lucky to have one in suitable colours.

My next card I have already shown on Facebook on the Groovi Worldwide page but here it is for you all to see.

 I chose Blue Indigo and Violet.

I coloured the parchment myself with crayons and oil to blend them.

It is all very subtle as the colours blend together through very pale blue, lilac and then darker shades.

I used a Groovi grid plate for the border and the centre oval is from December 2020 Monthly plate

I did some picot snipping in the centre of the largest hearts.

I sent this to the craft shop to see if it would sell for Valentines (that was when I made it, back in Feb)

Groovi Heart

 Good Morning All

I had my first Groovi class yesterday, again limited numbers but that is fine, it is nice to get back some sort of normality.  There will be end of State of Emergency on 9th May but each regions leaders can still enforce  rules so we will have to wait and see what is announced.  The figures for Valencia are very very love, some of the best in Spain.

I did this card a while ago.  I really enjoy snipping, more so than embossing my Groovi work.

It is done with Lavender coloured parchment so I needed my Lightwave to see through to work it.

Again, backed onto Clarity Designer paper.

I added little heart gems to match the heart design.

Showcase week for Crafty Ribbons - Animals

 Good Morning All

Crafty Ribbons showcase week is Animals, Great or Small.

I used the remainder of my Bunny Grosgrain ribbon to cover a small Pringles tub.

I added brown  cotton lace at the top.

I used a piece of my alcohol dyed card to cover the lid and added a tab with the ribbon too.

I will be using this for a gift, maybe add some sweeties.

These gorgeous  daisy type flowers are out again during the day when the sun shines. 

I love how they go from white to yellow.

 At night the petals all fold down.

Happy Sunday Challenge

 Good Morning All

Yey, we were back at Craft Club on Friday, only 6 allowed but that's good.

I sorted out a rota for the ladies and it worked out ok.

Groovi classes start on Wednesday too and those ladies are happy about it too.

Onto my challenge for the ladies, it is a sketch.

Here is my card.

I used an offcut of parchment to make the panel and backed it onto a piece of alcohol dyed card, and used some others scraps for the other side.

I used the multi Heart Groovi plate that Liz from the craft shop gave me for Christmas, love this plate.

So being back at Craft I brought out the little boxes that I make too with a gift for each person.

These are little triangle boxes with a truffle inside.

AG with Ribbon option for Allsorts

 Good Morning All

Allsorts Challenge time again and the theme is 

Anything Goes with an option of using Ribbon too

Again, I am using an image from my stash, an old one and I dont know where from.

I used to write the name on the back but I stuck this one down before taking note!!!

I am trying to increase my stock of childrens cards, so this can go in the box.

Charles Groovi Plate

 Good Morning All

Another Groovi Card today and this is using the Charles Border Grid Plate and this is one of the easier ones I think.

Again, it is a large 8x8 scalloped card blank and I do keep these cards for people here, usually my Craft Club ladies.

I made the border from the piece of parchment left over after diecutting the centre out for another  piece of Groovi work.  I cover the centre cut out with Clarity designer paper then make another piece of Groovi work to go on top.This time the butterfly does NOT  hide a mistake it is there purely for decoration!!

I had my 1st vaccination on Tuesday, the Astrazenica  one, and I felt fine after it.  They say the 2nd one can be anything between 2 and 10 weeks.

Good Morning All

I really enjoy making these as it is like a secret pocket and a surprise when you open and see what's inside.
