Last Two Hearts

 Good Morning All

Here are the last of the Groovi hearts, I promise, well maybe not!!

These have been very quick and easy cards and great for filling the charity box

Also, at my craft club last week, one of the ladies had made some pickled red cabbage and beetroot and she asked if she could raffle a couple of jars to raise some money for my charity box.  So, of course I said yes and Eves hubby had made some cake so some donated for a piece of that too.

So  12.55 was added to the box so that was great, I thank them all.

Same image Different Card

 Good Morning All

Two more quick cards using a Groovi Heart.

I can sit at night doing these hearts and they are great for any card, Wedding, Engagement, Anniversary or even Birthday or Baby, like the one below.

This paper is from an LOTV pad and the embossed card is Centur Pearl and the EF from Creative Expressions.

The gifts I gave out were Tesco Caramel Bars as we now have a shop called Overseas which sells alot of Tesco products.

I made pouches for them from Amazon packaging and decorated with some of my Junk Journal ephemera.

The Groovi Club 1plate

Good Morning All 

Some of you may know that I subscribe to the Clarity Groovi club and we are sent a baby plate each month.

This month it was an Easter plate and I used the cross and the corners to make a simple Sympathy card.

I did the borders using  the Hampton Court grid.

Very easy but effective I think.

One of my Craft Club ladies is taking a box of cards to sell and sadly as we get older we need this type of card.  This is great as it all adds to the charity pot and allows me to make more cards, win win.

Cards for Ukraine

 Good Morning All

Here are some more cards I made to raise funds for goods to go to help the people in The Ukraine.

The images are purchased from a  lady, Kristie Art, in Ukraine too as it will help her hopefully.

I must admit, I have since been on and bought some more from her, so watch this space.

These are quick cards to make and very similar to the ones I have shown previously.

The latest images I bought are more sport themed but vintage, so look forward to using those.

No Challenge

 Good Morning All

I dont have a challenge this week as the Craft Shop was closed on Friday as it was a holiday day here in Spain too.  So last weeks challenge runs for 2 weeks.

So today I have this card using a topper from a very long time ago.  I think it was Daisy & Dandelion toppers, but I found it in my stash, and as you know I do like to use my old stuff.

The paper is from an LOTV pad and afew gems left over from  a Crystal art kit.

That's it for today, short and sweet!!

Groovi Circle Grids

 Good Morning All

As you know I really enjoy grid work with my Groovi and here are some cards I have made for my own use.

The centre piece is a Pergamano Poppet image already coloured.

On these next ones, the centre piece is a vellum floral  image, one of my Groovi ladies gave me afew sheets of these so I backed some onto white paper to make them stand out more.

A Junk Journal booklet

 Good Morning All

At my Junk Journal class last week we made this style of booklet with a pocket.

This is the front and it is tied with Organza ribbon and I added a heart charm.

This is another one I made tied with Seam Binding.

On this one I added some tags to the inside pocket

Happy Sunday Challenge

 Good Morning All

I had a sketch for the Craft Club on Friday an here is my card using some more delightful ribbon from Crafty Ribbons.

This sentiment square I have had for years, it is red printed on vellum.

I used a scrap of embossed card on the bottom half and used the ribbon to hide the join.

The ribbon is called Animal Cuddles and is so cute.

Sketch to follow and this will run for two weeks as the shop is closed next Friday so we are going out for a meal instead of our Craft meeting.

These are the gifts I gave out.

As the shop is closed next week, Good Friday, I gave out these lovely Easter gift bags containing a Cadburys Cream Egg.

Onto the challenge last time which was 2 weeks ago as I was away last Friday.

My Mothers Day card.

 Good Morning All

I thought I had posted this, my Mums Mothers Day card.

I used two Groovi grids for this and one of Clarity's Poppet images.

I had a Junk Journal class yesterday and this is what we made.

A little A6 size folder containing a notebook.

It has flips and pockets, great fun to make and the ladies enjoyed it.
