Happy Sunday Challenge

Good Morning All

This weeks challenge is a sketch and this is my card.

These are the gifts I gave out  -  afew sweets with a pen holder giant paperclip to which I tied ribbon to hang off the page. I use  afew of these on my Diary and  my Create Book ( where I keep records of what I am blogging and FB and Instagram)

Groovi Christmas

 Good Morning All

Last weekend I got stuck into my Christmas cards, making some and recycling some from last year.

These are all new makes and this is using two plates from my Groovi collection.  It is green parchment matted onto a green turquoise Mirri card.  I found two lovely snowflake brads in my stash.

These next two cards are using a large plate I borrowed from one of my craft group ladies.  It is nine small images of Christmas trees so I made a load of them thinking they would make nice quick cards which they did.  I think they look quite classy.

Then this last one is my favourite plate for Christmas, it also looks good adding glitter to the swirls too.

I have written most of my cards as we are going back to UK early November for my Mum's 100 birthday, so I want to leave all the ones for posting with my sister for her to post for me.

Recyled

 Good Morning All

I have been recycling cards that were given to me for my Birthday back in May.

Some of them I know just by looking at them, who they are from!!

Do you recycle your cards??

I cant throw them out so when I do this I put them in the charity box so I know I am doing good by them.

Happy Sunday Challenge

At my Craft Group yesterday the challenge I set them was

Animals

So anything with an Animal on it.

The gifts I gave out were Fruitella sweets in pretty pink boxes with a bellyband to hold closed.

Spring for MTTC

Good Morning All

My Time To Craft Challenge is

Spring

hosted by Margaret (In Australia) 

I made a Spring Themed Folio using a kit from FabiArtStudio on Etsy.

I also added a notebook then I can give as a gift at Christmas or sell to raise funds for the charities.

This is the front tied with seam binding and a dangle

Inside with a pocket on the left with journal cards and the notebook.

           

   Once the notebook is flipped over it reveals two more pockets with tags

And on the back is another pocket with more journal cards.

I love this and would love to receive it as a gift.

Journal Cards for Bea Grob DT

 Good Evening All

This is my 1st DT for Bea Grob (Media Artist)

I decided to make some Journal cards for a Journal I am making (WIP)

Satin and Lace trim at the top, Washi stickers and Words and labels from a digital sheet.  All available in Bea's Shop  (not the satin & lace, that's from my stash)

I started by cutting 4x6" pieces of card and rounded the botton 2 corners.

Then I tore strips of blue satin material and cut strips of lace, longer than the card as they will be gathered.

Then lightly glue along top edge, gathering as you go, put lave on top and sew on machine or by hand.

Here they are tucked under a page flip.

And a hidden paperclip added to hold in place.

Happy Sunday Challenge

 Good Morning All

 Woohoo, we were back at Craft Group on Friday, its been a long Summer without it.

The challenge I set them was a sketch.

My card using my beloved LOTV Topper of a Golfer.
