Dies Challenge Day 47 & 3 Pearls for Allsorts

Good Morning All

Two Joanna Sheen dies to show you today on my cards for the Allsorts Challenge set by Helene.

Add Three Pearls

I made two  Easter cards for the Grandkids.

This one I used Joanna Sheen Ribbon Die and mounted it onto pink card.

I could not find any Easter sentiments but I did have some negatives from peeloffs so used those.

I used LOTV Toppers on both cards and with this one I had a couple of pieces of doily so stuck them under the topper.

Added the 3 pearls to the top corner.

This is the die I cut.

This  is Joanna Sheen Banner die.

Two pieces of scrap card and paper for the base matted onto Kraft card.

I hid the join with ribbon and seam binding from Crafty Ribbons.

Crafty Ribbons Anything Goes & Sketch Challenge for Craft Club

Good Morning All

Today I am showing the sketch card for my challenge I set my Craft Club ladies, as it coincides with Crafty Ribbons DT.

Also I  have another DT post for Sunday too.

This one is in the Sewing section of Grosgrain type.

Dies Challenge Day 46 & CE Quilted block striplet & Mr & Mrs & JND Gerberas

Good Morning All

I have mentioned before that I dont make many Congrats cards - Wedding - Anniversary etc.

So this is one to go in the box.

This one came about as I wanted to use Johns Ribbon Threader die.

There are many variations to this die, circle, rectangle and square or where your imagination takes you.

I first used it for my very first Crafty Ribbons DT card HERE.

I threaded pale pink seam binding from Crafty Ribbons.

Used CE Striplet to cut into the card and matted onto Gold Mirri.

I added two appropriate charms where I tied the seam binding into a bow.

The Mr & Mrs is CE too.

I cut it twice, once in pink, once in Mirri.

I cut The Joanna Sheen Heart in pink.

Another two cards using Johns Gerbera Die and stamps.

I absolutely love Johns flower dies and stamp sets.

They are so easy to use and line up, an ingenious idea.

A nice, bright, happy card all in yellows.

I stamped the Gerberas with Izink Miel.

Used the same ink for the edges of the embossed mat.

Added three of the flowers to the corner.

The vellum sentiment is an old one I have had for years.

My second card is a topper from Joanna Sheen I think.

It didn't really need much adding so I just stuck the last flower in the corner and added a sentiment tag.

Dies Challenge Day 45 & Just For You Card & Clarity Die

Just For You

Another fairly simple card with one die set and one Embossing folder.

I used yellow card which I dont use very often, but it does look pretty.

I cut the die in  white and Holographic card.

I've just noticed now, looking at the pic that it is not set in the middle correctly.

  Errrrrrr, will the recipient notice?????

When Clarity Had a sale on in January, I could not resist this die at 50% off, daft not to really, dont you think????

I cut it in black and mounted onto some of Clarity's Rainbow River paper. These are stunning pads which I bought for parchment work but are perfect for these type of dies.

The die cuts into the paper so I cut it square and rounded the corners. Stuck to the designer paper then stuck that onto more black card so it looks like there are afew frames.

while I have been doing this challenge I have been doing abit of organising too.

I decided to put all my stamps in files.

All the freebies from Magazines are filed in an A4  Lever Arch file and these are my smaller ones filed in A5 Lever Arch files.

All labelled, all nice and neat.

Another single  journal page today using Spellbinders Ovals.  

I cut them from Kraft card and then some flowery paper that I thought matched the journal cards.I found these lovely journal cards in my stash so I just glued the bottom of the ovals so the cards can be slotted behind them.

I think they look pretty dont you?

Here are  four cards I have made using dies from Joanna Sheen that I bought just for MEns cards obviously !!!

Different images, different embossed backgrounds and different sentiment tags.

I mounted the car on a Pierced Flag die from Creative Expression to make it stand out more on the gold mirri.

Happy Sunday & Sketch Challenge

Good Morning All

Happy Sunday to you all.

The challenge I set my Craft Club ladies was to 

Use Your Scraps

I did take a bag of some of mine which they could choose from, it included some dies cuts that I have had for a long time, or they can use their own.

Anyway, here are my cards.

I,m sure we all end up with loads of small pieces of paper and card, too nice to throw away.

On both these cards I used some of mine.

This card I just used paper and inked the edges to make it look like a mat.

An LOTV Topper

This card is the same only the pretty papers are matted onto black card.

I found this pre-coloured image and sentiment in my digi box so I dont know whose it is, sorry.

I matted it onto an oval of glitter card that was in my file.

I used some old, dreaded, peeloffs to seperate the mats.

One of my homemade sentiment tags with a charm and afew butterflies.

I have used all these dies before so not counting in my Dies Challenge.

These are the gifts I gave out to my Craft Club ladies on Friday - Fruit Polos.

I made triangular shaped boxes for them with a belly band.

I tied ribbon around the band and added a dangle charm for them to use.

I made these from a tutorial by Pootles.

Dies Challenge Day 42 & Make it Girly for Allsorts

Good Morning All

Allsorts Challenge today is set by Lynn and her theme is 

Make it Girly

I made three cards for this one.

It was very hard getting a good pic of this one but in real life you can see it better.

This is the Groovi work before I  coloured it and mounted it.

It is a plate I borrowed from a friend.

This is the second one. 

I used an embossing folder John gave me years ago, not Johns cuppa I think.

I embossed the Pearlised card then rubbed over it with Mica Magic.

I coloured her with my Polychromo pencils.
Matted onto pink glitter card and then onto gold mirri embossed with Budding Vines EF.

Dies Challenge Day 41 - Partridge in a Peartree & JND Champagne Bottle

Good Morning All

A nice flat card for posting today and just one die used too.

I matted onto Gold Mirri card and cut the sentiment (which is in the same set) from the same card.

The main die is cut from Silver and matted onto red card.

Simples!!!!!

Cut in green and gold mirri card.

The die set even includes the tiny weeny bubble, the stars and the words, a great set for any Celebration card.

Dies Challenge Day 40 - Thanks For Everything

Good Morning All

'Thank You For Everything'

That is the sentiment on this card.

Two dies and an Embossing Folder used on this one plus some pretty Picot Parchment flowers and some punched ones too.  This is how I use my odd bits of parchment, small pieces get punched, abit larger get picot cut.

The trellis is a Marianne die and one of my very early ones.

This is what is good about this challenge , I am using dies that I have long forgotten.
