My Challenge

Good Morning All

Each week at my Craft Club I set the girls a little challenge, usually a sketch to follow but this week it was Bingo or Tic Tac Toe.

I also put it on my Facebook Page - Wendys Crafty Crafts.

I played with Elephant - Silver  - Teddy

I made a tag with the smaller image  and attached a silver charm.

Good Morning All

Well my trip draws closer and I am practically ready.

I am only taking hand luggage and that is nearly full of cards for posting and delivering to family and friends, also, I am taking some to post for my friend Val J.

Todays card is made from a pack Val gave me for Christmas last year.

I do still keep using it Val.
Hope you are feeling Ok after your hospital visit on Monday.  

I can make some quick cards with this kit and it is great for filling the boxes when I did my Craft Fayre.

Birthdays

Good Morning All

Yesterday was my Grandsons Birthday and I forgot to photograph his card before I 

posted it off to him.

But I did photograph my crafty friend, Lyn's card.  Their birthdays are on the same day.

Lyn is a Pink person and she loves Centura Pearl card so I,m sure she would like this card - Lots of pink, flowers and pretty.

So Happy Birthday Lyn & Noah for yesterday.

Christmas song for Allsorts

Good Morning All

Allsorts Challenge time again and the theme has been chosen by  Ellie.

Inspired by a Christmas song.

I made Hollie and Tess's Christmas card.

I used Forever Friends images and I hand wrote the tags to make it more personal for them.

Christmas Animals for MAWTT

Good Morning All

Moving Along With The Times Challenge is hosted by Jenny and Team B this time.
Christmas Animals.
I used a die from Ebay of this reindeer, mounted onto red mirri cut with pierced circle die.

I kept this card very simple and flat as I am going to post it to my niece in Canada.

There are some gorgeous creations from Team B.

Glitter for Allsorts

Good Morning All

Allsorts Challenge time again and this week  Kath wants to see Glitter.

Well there is lots of it on my card.

Green Glitter card and the corners and Tree cut out from card with Glitter flakes stuck on before I put through my die cutting machine.

The tree die is from Sue Wilson Festive Collection and the corners are Leanne dies.

Add A Sentiment for Crafty Friends

Good Morning All

Crafty Friends Challenge time again and the theme is 

Add A Sentiment.

I was given this cute Penguin Door Hanger from the sponsor.
Glued it onto a piece of white card and cut out.
I put Tess on one side.

Glittered it up abit with some sparkly knitting wool.
Added danglers to the bottom.
I added Hollie on the other side.

Then added a Sentiment tag saying

As at the top the Hanger says 'Santa Stop Here'

A bit of fun for Hollie and Tess to hang on the door.

I hope to give it to them in December when I go to Mums.

Rick is going to try to get up north for at least one night.

Magazine Papers

Good Morning All

I bet you all have papers from magazines stashed away in a drawer somewhere, well I have too and these are some cards made with one lot.

I think it was Making Cards magazine, the paper is very good quality.

So, four very quick, easy cards that will go in the box for the Christmas Fayre

and quite flat for posting too.

Told you I was trying to use all my bits and bobs.

Ribbon Spool Swap

Good Morning All

Here is the Ribbon Spools from my swap partners.

They are so gorgeous and includes some lovely laces and ribbons.

All so pretty and packaged beautifully.

This is a card I have made using one of my new Embellishments.
Now this really is made from scraps, lots of bits that were on my desk.

I think it looks so pretty and I make them in lots of colours and variations.

Ribbon Spools

Good Morning All

The swap group I am in on Facebook had a swap last month of

Making & Decorating Ribbon Spools.

So these are mine, we had to make six, packed in three lots of two.

I cut mine using a Spellbinders Labels die.

Painted some and stuck LOTV paper on some.

Modge Podged them.

These were cut using an XCut die.

I added a peper clip with a bead dangler to stop the ribbon and lace from unwinding.

The recipient can then use it for something else, maybe a book mark or embellishment on a card.

New Embellishments & Christmas cards

Good Morning All

Hope you all had a good weekend.

Nothing out of the ordinary here.
I went to the quiz last night with my friend  Jacky, came bottom which is normal for us.  We do have to compete against teams of 4 and 6 people  and we did come away with a bag of sprouts!!!!!

Made some lovely embellishments on Saturday evening while watching TV.

I will package up ready for Christmas fayre and will add to selling page on FB and on here.

The card I am showing are a couple I made at my Craft Club on Friday

A stamped vellum Poinsettia to hide the ends of the ribbon.

I like plaiting ribbon this way as you can curve it around.

And this is a channel card I made for The Cotswold Crafters Blog
