Four Legged Friends for Allsorts

 Good Morning All

Mervi is hosting this weeks challenge for Allsorts and her theme is

Four Legged Friends.

I used a topper from my Cute Pups pad I bought last year  in a craft shop in Villa Martin.

I matted it onto Tan and Black card and then Tan card that I used Paw Prints EF from Creative Expressions.

And added these cute paw buttons from Crafty Ribbons.

I,m not sure if they are still available but there are loads more Novelty buttons in store HERE

Talking of Four legged friends, here is Rico on Christmas day enjoying his Christmas bone.

Groovi Flowers

 Good Morning All

I am still doing Groovi and trying to use all my spare pieces.

I made this frame a while ago and found a parchment topper of these gorgeous flowers which I think are Primulas.

The border is one of the Italian city grids, so pretty.

Raising Funds

 Good Morning All

La Finca Castellana Rescue centre is the Animal Rescue place where we got Rico from.

They are desperately short of funds as it is not easy to do fund raisers in these times.

So I thought I would put a box in the craft shop, selling bits and bobs that I have made, to try and help them.  I took it to the last meeting we were able to have for the slimming club and the ladies there generously donated / bought over 35 euros worth of goodies.

These are what I have been making.

I did not put prices on anything just asked for a donation.

Firstly, the box itself

Macaroon grosgrain ribbon from Crafty Ribbons

Bookmarks laminated and a tassle added

Then some little handmade notebooks with the help of Gi Kerr's freebies on Facebook.

I made paper bags from book pages and decorated them and put the notebooks inside.

Then fastened the bags with decorated paperclips.

More notebooks

And more bags.

I dont think too much will sell in the shop as it is very quiet during these Covid times but anything is better than nothing.

Beautiful Blooms for Allsorts

Good Morning All

Allsorts Challenge this week is hosted by our lovely leader, Brenda.

Her theme is

Beautiful Blooms

I used this image from my stash and it is from a company called Right Said Fred but I,m not sure if they are still in business, I have had it a very long time and it was already coloured.

I made a scrappy background with torn card.  Stamped the sentiment with brown ink and added brown lace from Crafty Ribbons.

I stamped Mum on a piece of parchment and added pearls as I will send this to Johns Mum for Mothers Day.

Pocket tags for Junk Journals

 Good Morning All

I was watching Gi Kerr on You Tube and she made some lovely tags with a side pocket which I thought were adorable.

Here is my take on them.

I used lots of Gi's words and ephemera.

For the tag tops I tore  some cotton sheet into strips.

Homemade tassles attached with bulb pins.

I stamped the little bird using the Walnut Oxide ink pad.

Mini envelopes made with my

We are Memory Keepers punch board.

These will all go into my stash ready for my next Journal or Folio.

Hearts for Crafty Ribbons

Good Morning All

Crafty Ribbons are having a theme week of Hearts.

I die cut a heart aperture and added Grosgrain heart ribbon in rows underneath it.

I matted it all onto silver Mirri card and  punched the corners and added the heart shapes that fell out on the plain white card.

I kept it very CAS really.

Triple tag and Glue bottle pins

 Good Morning All

Well it is looking more likely that we will have a lockdown in our region of Valencia, as the neighbouring one, Murcia, has locked down again.

I have been doing lots of crafting as I have no classes to go to.

There are numerous tutorials for these but I saw one from Tracie Fox and she used butterfly back for pierced earrings.

Anyway, I made afew and am very happy with them.

They are great for the fine tipped glue bottles.

Also from Tracie Fox is a positivitag Challenge on her facebook group.

She provides a couple of freebie sheets in the group and want Positive Tags.

I made a triple folding tag and used both sheets of paper.

I have also made a You Tube video if you would like to take and peep and if you  become a subbie that would be fab.

Happy Sunday Challenge

 Good Morning All

Even though my Craft Club has been put on hold due to the new restrictions from the virus, I am still doing a challenge for the ladies and you if you wish to enter a card.

Here is my card using a Humphrey topper from Crafters Companion.
