Sunday Challenge

 Good Morning All

My challenge card was the one I used yesterday for Allsorts DT.

The challenge is to use at least 2 Circles.

I set a challenge for my craft club on Fridays and this week some of the ladies wanted to see and learn the process of making Junk Journals so the challenge I set some of them was to make a  Junk journal with the bits they had left over from the class.

So those that weren't taking part in that I set them to make a card featuring more than one Circle.

Last times challenge ran for 2 weeks at the Craft shop was closed last Friday for the owners to have a holiday.

Going Round in Circles for Allsorts

Good Morning All

Kath has chosen the theme for this weeks Allsorts Challenge.
Going Round In Circles.

I used one of my strip backgrounds and a Penny Black stamp called Christmas Tidings(PB3998F)
Although I made it into a Sympathy card.
I cut the image and a backing with CE Pierced Circle die.

This card will also be used tomorrow for my Challenge, anyone is welcome to join in.

Posh Birthday Card

 Good Morning All

Last week , my Slimming group leader messaged me with 2 days notice to ask if I could make her a card for a dear friend.

I used  JND champagne bottle and his corner die-

I glued pearlised paper onto gold mirri but you could see the glue, hence the swirls of Stickles spread around to hide it.

I found the scrap of glitter card and added the two sentiment tags onto it.

I stuck the bottle on with foam tabs so I added two stick pins  as though they were coming out of the cork.

She was very happy with it and I was too, considering such short notice,

Ribbon Gifts

 Good Morning All

I have made afew of these Ribbon holders for gifts and swaps.

I made an envelope and filled with Sentiments and tucked it behind the ribbon.

I use the ribbon holder I get from the China shops here and covered with nice paper.

Fairy & Fantasy for Crafty Friends

Good Morning All

Crafty Friends Challenge time again and our theme is

Fairy & Fantasy

I chose this cute LOTV Topper matted onto an odd piece on my desk and then onto butterfly paper.

I added this lovely Fairy charm to the sentiment with organza ribbon.

Then afew of my little butterflies.

We dont have a sponsor for this one so playing 

Just For Fun.

I wont be posting tomorrow as we didnt have Craft Club on Friday as shop was closed, so challenge goes on for another week.

Holiday Fun for Crafty Ribbons

Crafty Ribbons are having a Showcase Week

I made a travel notebook folio which I thought would be good to take on holiday and keep notes, receipts and any souvenirs.

I used some old French map pages to cover the board.

Added a cluster pocket in the bottom corner and this gorgeous Holiday ribbons available HERE.

And this is how I have decided to store my ribbon,  on pins and hooked at the side of my desk, so always in view.

Tonic Hexagon

 Good Morning All

A while ago, our local craft shop  where I hold my Craft Club, got some Tonic dies in stock and this was one one of them.

I only have one set of Hexagon dies so I decided to buy it, although, did I really NEED it??

A Groovi Wrap

 Good Morning All

I have not been doing much Groovi since Lockdown but I could not resist ordering one of the Wrap plates designed by Linda Williams.

This is two pieces overlaid

They are designed to make a wrap, like an envelope but I wanted them for cards.

Very delicate and pretty dont  you think??

This is one I made for one of my Craft Club ladies, Maggie, which I personalised for her birthday on Friday.

This is poor Rico feeling sorry for himself.

We think he has got bitten and he has knawed his tail abit raw so we had to buy him a big collar to stop him messing with it, poor love.
