About Me

Alicante, Spain
Hi. I live in Spain with my partner. I am retired and LOVE it. I love life here but I do miss my family back in the UK, two sons and three sisters and my Mum. Crafting is my life, I do something every single day. In the past it has helped me get through some bad times in my life. One such bad time was when my first grandson died aged just 14 months. He had been born 8 weeks prem but was very healthy and was growing into a beautiful, bonny boy. It was such a shock when the call came. A day never passes when I dont think of him. I am now Nanna again to grand daughter, Hollie, born July 2012, and Tess born March 2016. This is my younger son and his partner. I now have another Grandson, Noah, born Nov 2013 to my elder Son and they have 3 daughters Aurora, born March 2015 and Arabella, born August 2017 and Arianna born 2019. Thanks for visiting and I hope you enjoy my makes. Please leave a comment so that I know you have visited me. I love reading them all. xxxx

A mass of Christmas cards

Good Morning All
Well, what a day yesterday was, no power for 12 hours from 8.30am.
Everything you think of doing requires electric.
The annoying thing was that it could have been sorted if the Admin company that looks after our building had got their act together instead of faffing about, it would have been sorted by midday.

One bonus, I have written out most of my Christmas cards  ready to take to UK in December for posting and giving out to family and friends.
*****
Afew years ago I bought 100   4x4 card blanks for Christening invites which were not needed.
So I thought I would use them to make very quick cards to pack together in a handmade paper handbag to sell at the craft fayre.

And, believe it or not, I made a total of 27 in one afternoon and they all had inserts too.!!!!!!
I used lots of bits from my Christmas box.

And here is a handbag too.

I made 6 more of these while watching X factor on Saturday evening!!!
I have a total of 40 so I am putting 10 in each bag.

xxxxx

Hi Wendy, you don't realise how many things we have that requires electricity until a power cut and you can't use them !! Lol. Great selection of cards that should sell well. Janice xx http://createdbyjan.blogspot.com

Hi Wendy
Wow....busy girlie. Mind you, I'd rather make cards than watch the X Factor lol!
These are lovely little sets and will sell well.
Good job you didn't need the air con.
