About Me

My photo
Alicante, Spain
Hi. I live in Spain with my partner. I am retired and LOVE it. I love life here but I do miss my family back in the UK, two sons and three sisters and my Mum. Crafting is my life, I do something every single day. In the past it has helped me get through some bad times in my life. One such bad time was when my first grandson died aged just 14 months. He had been born 8 weeks prem but was very healthy and was growing into a beautiful, bonny boy. It was such a shock when the call came. A day never passes when I dont think of him. I am now Nanna again to grand daughter, Hollie, born July 2012, and Tess born March 2016. This is my younger son and his partner. I now have another Grandson, Noah, born Nov 2013 to my elder Son and they have 3 daughters Aurora, born March 2015 and Arabella, born August 2017 and Arianna born 2019. Thanks for visiting and I hope you enjoy my makes. Please leave a comment so that I know you have visited me. I love reading them all. xxxx

Use A Butterfly

Good Morning All

Allsorts Challenge time again and the theme this week has been chosen by Tracy Mouse and it is a lovely easy one - 'Use A Butterfly'
I was very late making this as I have been having a bit of a down time the week before last and did not feel like crafting !!!!!!!
I was browsing around on You tube and came across this and thought it was a brill idea.  This lady has a great talent.   'The Paper Boutique' is the link to see how to make this.

The butterflies on this are from the sponsor for this challenge
Digi Stamp Boutique.  I printed them on 160gsm paper and cut around them leaving a very small edge and went round it with a grey Promarker.  I curled the wings and stuck them to the file with Pinflair glue.

Added a couple of white quilled flowers.

Here is one in a different colour.

I could not find the magnetic fastener that she used at Paper Boutique
so I used the ever faithful ribbon.

This could be used for a number of things -----

Digis,   notelets,     toppers,    etc etc etc.

We have 2 sponsors -----
Digistamp              6 images of winners choice

Flonzcraft

Flonz $20 store gift voucher Also 12% discount offered on purchases to those entering the challenge

I,m sure this will be a very busy week for entries so get going and visit the challenge blog to see the rest of the Design Teams creations.

Hi Wendy
These are stunning and thank you for the link to the tutorial.
Im guessing I could use those hook and loop fasteners instead of magnets.
Have a great evening.
