Allsorts Challenge is hosted by Ellie this week and, with being February, it is Love.

Good Morning All

I received a Joanna Sheen gift voucher from my Craft Club ladies for Christmas.

I was waiting for her to get this Chloe stamp and Die in stock.

I also got some Tim Holtz mini stamp pads so I had a play with them all here before I added anything.

I love the depth you get on this die, there is 3 layers to this petal.

And this is the finished card with a homemade sentiment.

JND Dies

Good Morning All

My friend Val J went on hols afew weeks ago and she kindly left me some of her new dies to play with.

This is the beauty of my Craft Club, we all lend and borrow stuff from each other.

I cut out loads of the flowers and foliage in shades of pink.

Then arranged them onto a mat of CE Embossed Butterflies and pink card.

Added a stamped sentiment on the corner and afew pearls in the flower centres.

And, of course, one of my little butterflies!!!

Another Box

Good Morning All

This is the very first box

I made as a practice for the tissue boxes I showed the other day.

I made a belly band to keep it closed.

Decorated the band with flowers.
This might be winging it's way to a friend when I go back to UK on 20th, not saying who but she might guess!!!!

I always obviously, make a practice one then if it turns out alright I will use it as a gift either for a prize container in Craft Club or  include it in a swap.

My blog friend Brenda, Littlelamb she goes by on commenting, sent me another pic of an Impossible box she has made, but taller this time.
Isn't it gorgeous?
I think she has used JND Flowers & foliage dies.

Craft Club Gifts & Sketch

Good Morning All

As promised, I am posting my little sketch challenge on here and showing the little gifts I give to my Craft Club ladies.

I have so much fun making these.

They close with the ribbon.

And will also store flat if you need to make a load.

They are about 1" tall and 2" across.

So cute.

I added a little flower to each one.

I used double sided card for most and the ones I made with plain card, I added panels to.

Can you guess what's inside?

Used bright colours as I am sending them to the Grand Children for Easter.

Hearts & Flowers for Penny Black

1st of three posts today.

As part of the DT for Allsorts, we get to design every few months for Penny Black  & More.

The theme this time for me is Love Hearts & Flowers.

I wanted to show this lovely Impossible box that one of my followers has made.
Littlelamb does not have a blog but she comments every post, lovely lady.
I met her at Ally Pally.
This is my original post showing this type of box and she has made it taller and used JND Flowers and Foliage dies I think.
So pretty.

Cards using Tags

Good Morning All

I made some tags (Here) before Christmas to sell at the Craft Farye and some didn't sell so I made them into cards.

I took them to craft club last Friday and used odds of papers and card that I keep there, along with ribbons and embellishments.

They are all 5x7 and everything was from the boxes at Craft club, all I had to do when I got them  home was to add inserts and bag them up to go in box ready to give away.

Some of my ladies are quite impressed with how many cards I make at club.

I think once, I made about 15 Christmas cards !!!!!
All the backing paper I used are Mulberry paper, quite old fashioned but one of the ladies broought a bundle in, so may aswell use it.
I love the brown one, it has a sparkle running through it.

A New Friend

Good Morning All

I just had to show you  my new friend.

Our friends who we were meant to be going away with at New Year have just got a puppy.

She is a variety of Mastiff.

I had to go down to their garage yesterday morning to meet her.

Isn't she the cutest????

Her name is Lola and she is number 4 of Andrew and Amanda's babies.

They have 3 dogs already and count them as their children.

She is gonna be a big dog.

Craft Club Gifts & Sketch

Good Morning All

As some of you may know, I give my Craft Club girls a sketch each week, just a little challenge for them but I also share it on my Facebook Page too.

Anyone is more than welcome to enter, either comment on Facebook with a pic or email one to me.

Firstly though, here is the little gifts I have made for my ladies this week, a little Tissue Pouch.

I loved making these and I hope they like them too.

Now onto the sketch.

I have starting drawing these myself with Office Draw.

If you fancy having a go, take no notice of the colours, just the layout.

Here is my interpretation

I used one of John Lockwoods Circle Stamps, cut out wth CE Noble Circle die

I used the off cuts to decorate the inside.

My second one is using a LOTV Topper

Bow and butterfly made by me and some buttons with Twine bows

I made this one for a challenge on Facebook too so if anyone is in the same group you may have already seen it, apologies.

I draw a name from everyone that makes a card and I will post out a little gift.
