About Me

My photo
Alicante, Spain
Hi. I live in Spain with my partner. I am retired and LOVE it. I love life here but I do miss my family back in the UK, two sons and three sisters and my Mum. Crafting is my life, I do something every single day. In the past it has helped me get through some bad times in my life. One such bad time was when my first grandson died aged just 14 months. He had been born 8 weeks prem but was very healthy and was growing into a beautiful, bonny boy. It was such a shock when the call came. A day never passes when I dont think of him. I am now Nanna again to grand daughter, Hollie, born July 2012, and Tess born March 2016. This is my younger son and his partner. I now have another Grandson, Noah, born Nov 2013 to my elder Son and they have 3 daughters Aurora, born March 2015 and Arabella, born August 2017 and Arianna born 2019. Thanks for visiting and I hope you enjoy my makes. Please leave a comment so that I know you have visited me. I love reading them all. xxxx

Bits & Bobs

Good Morning All

I have afew small piece of Embossed card, offcuts which I dont like to throw away.
Here is one way of using them.
I tried to keep a theme of yellow, so inked the edges of all the pieces.

I had some odd flowers punched out so added yellow and blue pearls.

And, of course, afew of my butterflies.

I had been playing with my new Envelope Punch Board and I had two of these bows ready to use.

Sentiment from one of Johns sets.

And this is Johns stamp too.

So that is afew more scrap and bits used off my desk.

Rico is going for a haircut tomorrow.
Although he is molting, the vet said he can be trimmed, so we booked him in when we were at the vets last week.

This pic shows how long his fur is all along his neck and back.

We think his fur is longer  on his back because he is cross breed,
possibly with a wire hair terrier.
He will look so different with shorter fur and it will keep him cooler in the coming months.

Hi Wendy what a good idea to use embossed card that way. Lovely cards and gorgeous dog. My dog Toby is my hero and my life. I love him so much and he follows me everywhere lol.

Hi Wendy

This is a great way to use your left over card stock and if you don't mind I just may have to use it too?

Rico did look much better after his visit and I'm sure will feel much cooler
