Altered Paper Clips Swap

Good Morning All

As you know, I am in a swap group on Facebook and the last one I too part in was to send Altered Paper Clips.

Well here are mine.

I used lots of bits of ribbon from Crafty Ribbon

you can but off cuts, great for this type of work.

This is a great way of using scraps too.

Also, if you make Junk Journals, a great way to add page marks.

I decorated both sides, that is why there are so many pics.

Rosette Swap

Good Morning All

Another swap I posted to UK last week was a Shabby Chic, layered Rosette.

I used lots on this -
3 layers of rosettes
Pearls and satin flowers string
Lace
Feather
Cream Trim




A tag with a sentiment
A Stick Pin

This is the card I made to go in my parcel.

I used a Rosette maker die and one of my pearl gems for the centre-
and, of course, some tiny butterflies that I make.

Call back tomorrow to see what I made with the left over bits.

ATC's

Good Morning All

As you know, I am in a swap group on Facebook.

On my post HERE I showed you the ATC's I made for my swap partner, the theme was Valentines.

Well these are the ones I received from my partner.

They are so pretty and I shall put them to good use on my cards.

My next swap is ATC's again and the theme is Springtime.

I made these first using some prints for Junk Journals, but then thought the bunnies and Tulips was more Spring like.

I used some free papers from Making Cards Magazine years old.

I put them in individual bags and decorated up abit.

Hope my swap partner likes them.

My next swap posted last week is a layered Rosette!!

So watch this space.

First ATC's

Good Morning All

I have heard of ATC's before but never really got into them.

The swap group I am in on Facebook set Valentine ATC's as a swap theme.

So I thought I would have a go.

All parcelled up, I added a bow and a dangle charm.

I will show you the ones I receive, when I get them.

We are going to walk a dog this morning, one we hope to adopt, will post pics tomorrow.
He is a beagle cross and so cute.
The kennels tell us he is a very good natured dog, so we walk him first then he comes to us for 1 week to see if he settles and we suit him too.  Then the adoption papers are sorted.
A very good way of doing it we think.

Happy Birthday Vals

Good Morning All

My two friends, Val J and Val C both have birthdays today.

I made Val J's card ages ago and posted it for an Allsorts DT card HERE.

It was A Christina box die and card in Black & White.

Well here is the card I made for Val C.

Sadly the embossing does not show up too well, but it is from the Papercraft Essentials magazine that Sandra from Cotswold Crafter Blog kindly posted to me.

And Val J had brought the Sentiment stamp set & Die to match,  to Craft Club so I stamped afew of them to take home.

Added afew butterflies.

A pretty card.

In the swap group I am in on Facebook, we have just completed a swap of making at least 3 Stick Pins and packaging them nicely.
Here are the ones I received from Debbie Vignola in Florida USA.

A gorgeous Pi cushion too.

And here is my parcel to Debbie.

These are lace Stick Pins.

I made this card using a Bugaboo digi and  JND heat embossed butterflies and dragonflies.

Ribbon Spools

Good Morning All

The swap group I am in on Facebook had a swap last month of

Making & Decorating Ribbon Spools.

So these are mine, we had to make six, packed in three lots of two.

I cut mine using a Spellbinders Labels die.

Painted some and stuck LOTV paper on some.

Modge Podged them.

These were cut using an XCut die.

I added a peper clip with a bead dangler to stop the ribbon and lace from unwinding.

The recipient can then use it for something else, maybe a book mark or embellishment on a card.
