I have been recycling cards that were given to me for my Birthday back in May.

Some of them I know just by looking at them, who they are from!!

Do you recycle your cards??

I cant throw them out so when I do this I put them in the charity box so I know I am doing good by them.

I made this card by recycling one sent to john in November.

I do this with all the handmade cards I receive.

I added an offcut of hessian and some papers I bought on a destash site afew years ago.

A great man card.

Happy Sunday Challenge

 Good Morning All

The Challenge this week is an interesting one

Recycle or Re-use or Re-purpose.

I made these Notebooks back in December for a You Tube Video.

They are made from an envelope I get each month with my Groovi Club plate in.  It's roughly  9 x 6 inch and I fold in half, cover with pretty papers and add pages.

These are the first two I made then my filming went wrong!!.

This is the third one I made and is featured in the video.

I also re-used a card from Johns Birthday last year.

I do this with most cards, especially hand made ones.

The gifts I left for Eve for Craft Club......

Emery boards which we all need in our handbag and I thought these were rather pretty in rainbow colours.  I made a sleeve for them too and decorated with images form Happiness in Crafting on Etsy.

Recycling Christmas Cards

Good Morning All

People give me their Christmas cards after the event for me to recycle or cut up or do whatever with.

When I was looking through my Christmas box the other week I came across a bag of them so I pulled afew out and recycled them for the charity box.

I really liked this topper, far too pretty to throw out.

I,m sure you all recycle your cards.

I'm sure the charities will be able to make good use of them.

Recycled Friends cards

Good Morning All

I,m sure you are all the same, whenever I receive a handmade card, I cannot throw it out.

Obviously I cant keep them all, so I recycle them and they go in the charity box.

Here are two.

The flower art on this one is from Sandra, Cotswold Crafter.

She very kindly posted a couple of craft magazines to me. and she enclosed a little card too.

I used it as a topper for this pretty Birthday card.

The second one was from Jen, one of my ladies at my Craft Club, she gave me this Thank You card after Christmas.

I added some butterflies and altered the centre. 
She had used one of my ribbon flowers on it.

Thank you ladies and I hope you don't mind me recycling your cards.

We had a lovely day yesterday.

After opening my Mothers Day cards, I took Rico for his walk, so warm at 9am.

We both took him out later as we were going out for lunch with some friends, normally I would not take him out twice in the morning.

He is really good when we leave him, he will have to be as my John goes to UK tomorrow for a footy match on Saturday, so Rico will have to be left while I go to my quilling and Craft Club.

Hollies Christmas Card

Good Morning All

A quick post from me today as I am going to do the dreaded supermarket shopping, how I hate it.

I have been busy getting all my families Christmas cards made as we go on holiday soon and dont want to be panicked when we get back.  Also I want them all ready to post when I get to UK in December to see my new Grandson (cant wait).

This is a recycled Christmas card with crochet edges.
