About Me

My photo
Alicante, Spain
Hi. I live in Spain with my partner. I am retired and LOVE it. I love life here but I do miss my family back in the UK, two sons and three sisters and my Mum. Crafting is my life, I do something every single day. In the past it has helped me get through some bad times in my life. One such bad time was when my first grandson died aged just 14 months. He had been born 8 weeks prem but was very healthy and was growing into a beautiful, bonny boy. It was such a shock when the call came. A day never passes when I dont think of him. I am now Nanna again to grand daughter, Hollie, born July 2012, and Tess born March 2016. This is my younger son and his partner. I now have another Grandson, Noah, born Nov 2013 to my elder Son and they have 3 daughters Aurora, born March 2015 and Arabella, born August 2017 and Arianna born 2019. Thanks for visiting and I hope you enjoy my makes. Please leave a comment so that I know you have visited me. I love reading them all. xxxx

Feed The Birds

Good Morning All
Happy Sunday to you all.  It has been mentioned about John and I's Sunday Mojo coming back and I will talk to him this week about it.

I have done a couple of cards using one decoupage from Joanna Sheen.  This is to combat the postage costs, instead of having four or five layers I make two images from one set that are only two or three layers each.

Hope you like them.

Just wanted to share a couple of pics of Hollie

Her Mum cant wait for her hair to grow more so that she can put slides and ribbons etc in it.  It's getting there.

This one was taken at  a wedding.

She has just started walking and had her new shoes on.  When we Skyped, the day she got them, as soon as she saw me on the screen, she pointed to her feet and held her foot upto the screen.

It is only about 8 weeks now until my new Grandson is due, wow, how time flies.

Hi Wendy
The cards are still great and do not suffer for having less layers.
Hollies pics are lovely.
I don't know if you view Patricias sister, Hazel, blog but she has removed some pics of children she had posted due to a big increase of viewing stats for that post. She was worried why there was such a big increase in page views just for that post.
Just in case you didn't know, you may want to keep an eye on your stats.

Awww, isn't Hollie just adorable! And thank goodness for Skype - my granddaughter lives in Shropshire, a 4-hour journey for us, but Skype means we can talk to her online. Though I miss being able to pick her up and give her a hug!!

What a great idea to make two cards from the decoupage sheets, both cards are so pretty! Very sensible and frugal - we all have to be frugal these days, don't we?!
