Good Evening All
First swim of this year in the pool today and it was lovely. Very warm here now and getting warmer by the day, and so hot at night.
I made this card for a male recipient. I dont do enough ·man· cards because I love doing pretty pastels.
I know its got gems and a bow but I still think you could give it to a man.
Lemon A6 card blank
Stamp was free on a craft mag and coloured with Promarkers
Charm recycled from a bracelet
Paper and card from stash
Lemon satin ribbon
White and parchment swirls are bits left over from a butterfly punch
Leaf diecut
Sentiment - peeloff

I hope you enjoy your visit to my blog, mainly card making but I now have six Grand children, five girls and a boy. As I love these kids so much I can't help showing an odd picture of them now and again. I really need to get into Scrapbooking too, loads of pics to use. I do some knitting and crocheting too. I also have a page on Facebook - Wendy's Crafty Crafts where I have a fun challenge most weeks.

- Alicante, Spain
- Hi. I live in Spain with my partner. I am retired and LOVE it. I love life here but I do miss my family back in the UK, two sons and three sisters and my Mum. Crafting is my life, I do something every single day. In the past it has helped me get through some bad times in my life. One such bad time was when my first grandson died aged just 14 months. He had been born 8 weeks prem but was very healthy and was growing into a beautiful, bonny boy. It was such a shock when the call came. A day never passes when I dont think of him. I am now Nanna again to grand daughter, Hollie, born July 2012, and Tess born March 2016. This is my younger son and his partner. I now have another Grandson, Noah, born Nov 2013 to my elder Son and they have 3 daughters Aurora, born March 2015 and Arabella, born August 2017 and Arianna born 2019. Thanks for visiting and I hope you enjoy my makes. Please leave a comment so that I know you have visited me. I love reading them all. xxxx

Wedding Day
Good Morning All
Busy day today, been awake since some unearthly hour, so got up at 7.30 and decided I must do some housework (I find it hard to say that word) haha. So I have now, swept and mopped all downstairs and hoovered and put rugs away for the summer. Now I can craft away without feeling guilty at not doing any HW. That is after we have been for a walk by the sea and done the supermarket shopping on the way homebefore lunch, then after lunch I can craft craft craft.
Now onto todays card.
This card I am using is some a friend gave me in the UK, she has given up card making so passed alot of stash onto me and there were loads of this card 12 x 36cm so you will be seeing alot of it in the future posts.

Matted congratulations paper onto gold card for outer edges and front

Prem Babies
Hi all
Just a quickie before I go to Spanish class
http://www.p-hop.co.uk/index.php/2012/03/we-need-tiny-hats/
A lady on the Docrafts forum asked if anyone could make some hats for a charity (above) so when I had finished crocheting the shawl (shown in an earlier post) I used the left over wool to make some. They are so easy and quick to make. The link above gives details and pattern links too. As some of you know my grandson was prem so I have a feeling for this.

A New Fold
Good Morning All
I just want to show you this one I have made this morning. I.m trying to think of something abit different fold wise.
I dont know if little is enough or if it needs more embellishments on.
I used a blank piece of card 36cm x 12cm and scored at 12, 24 and 30cm intervals. Then folded the front corners back just to make it abit different. I cut some embossed swirly gold & green paper to fit. Decoupaged image of wine and glasses. Sentiment from magazine freebie. Two tiny buttons from Papermania with a thin claret coloured twine (to match the wine bottle) tied through holes and two glass pearls in top corners. I,m not sure if it needs more or it that is enough. Please tell me what you think.

Home
Good Evening All
Back home last night and getting back to normal now. Washing done, food shopping done and put all my craft buys away but it has made me realise that I need, really need, to sort out my drawer that is full of papers and card. I do need to organise them all and put some away upstairs in my stash box.
I will be posting a card tomorrow but I have to catch up on my Spanish before my lesson tomorrow afternoon.
Here is a couple of pics that I took on the one nice day that we had while we were in Devon. We went to Bude for the afternoon and this is the estuary. It is a lovely place and we ended up staying there for our dinner that night. And yesterday was the best day of all the time we were there, it was gorgeous, lovely blue skies.
Anyway, we are home and it was nice to be in our own bed last night.
Lots of ideas buzzing round in my head and I was sent two lovely boxes of crafting goodies by two lovely ladies on the Docrafts forum, so I cant wait to get started with those.
Hugs to all

Last Day
Good Afternoon All
This is our last full day in the UK and we are really looking forward to going home. As much as we love our families, we long for our own house and most of all, our own bed.
It has been lovely seeing everyone, especially my DIL who now only has 10 weeks left. It seems so strange to think that next time I see her and my son they will be Mummy and Daddy!!!
The first pic is the shawl I have just finished whilst over here and the border is the colour that Lorien wanted. She chose pale beiges for the nursery so she wanted the same on this shawl. The other pic is a shawl that I must have started crocheting over 10 years ago and I finally finished it last year when we moved to Spain. I have given them both to Lorien and Rick. She has already got so many clothes etc for the baby (girl). I have taken her shopping for afew more things!!!!!
Please let me know what you think. And welcome to my new followers and everyone who leaves me comments.
Love and hugs to you all.
