About Me

My photo
Alicante, Spain
Hi. I live in Spain with my partner. I am retired and LOVE it. I love life here but I do miss my family back in the UK, two sons and three sisters and my Mum. Crafting is my life, I do something every single day. In the past it has helped me get through some bad times in my life. One such bad time was when my first grandson died aged just 14 months. He had been born 8 weeks prem but was very healthy and was growing into a beautiful, bonny boy. It was such a shock when the call came. A day never passes when I dont think of him. I am now Nanna again to grand daughter, Hollie, born July 2012, and Tess born March 2016. This is my younger son and his partner. I now have another Grandson, Noah, born Nov 2013 to my elder Son and they have a daughter, Aurora, born March 2015. Thanks for visiting and I hope you enjoy my makes. Please leave a comment so that I know you have visited me. xxxx

Happy Birthday Allsorts

Good Morning All

It is Happy 8th Birthday for Allsorts Challenge today.
Our Birthday challenge is kindly sponsored by Tattered Lace who are offering a fabulous £50 store voucher for this weeks winner...................and in addition there is a £5.00 voucher for every single entrant to spend at their Crafting store.

To use your £5 voucher you will need a code which can be found by visiting each of the DT's personal blogs, collecting the nine letters/number and WORK OUT  the unique code.......it's a really simple one ! Your voucher will be valid from today until Saturday 27th May and is limited to one voucher per entrant, that means even if you enter three times you will only receive one voucher.
My letter is 'S'

As Tattered Lace are the sponsor for this one so I used their Pin Dot Butterfly die.
I cut all three butterflies from a piece of Hunkydory card and inset the butterflies back in after putting a contrasting card underneath.

I added a homemade embellishment with a bow. gem butterfly trails. tiny vellum flowers and a sentiment with charms as this was for a friends nieces birthday.
This will be a busy one for our Design Team.

  16. What an absolutely beautiful card Wendy, this is definitely a 'keeper', it is so soft and feminine. You also always show such simple things on cards which reminds me of things that I can use, such as the vellum which I had completely forgotten all about. Thank you so much for showing us all your lovely cards. Jen xx
