Man or Boy for MAWTT

Good Morning All

Moving Along With The Times is Man or Boy and I am hosting this one.

I like choosing this theme as I can browse around and get some wonderful ideas from you all.

I used an image from LOTV topper pad and they are all suitable for 'man' cards.

Mounted it onto very  pale yellow card embossed with Leafy Montage embossing folder from CE. 

The sentiment is from Nettys Freebies HERE

The tiny buttons are from Docrafts.

Flower Power for Craft Rocket

Good Morning All

My first post today is for Craft Rocket Challenge and the theme is Flower Power.

I decorated this plain white bag, and I cannot remember where it came from.

Nor can I remember where the pretty pastel paper came from.

Flowers are CE Perfect Peony

Leaves are CE Mosaic Leaf  die

One of my stick pins.

Ages ago I was given a full box of pealised cards and toppers, so I have been taking them to our craft meetings and making some very quick cards.

I decided to put 6 of them in the bag and give it as a raffle prize.

So excited, my best friend is coming over today for a visit for a night or two.  She is staying in Benidorm and they have hired a car and are driving down, cant wait, she has never been to my house here.

I made this one when I returned to Spain, playing with my purchases!!!

I bought some 8 x 8 card blanks and wow, they are huge to me when I,m used to 5 x 5 or 6 x 6!!

This is how it first started but thought it need more.

Magic in the Air for Allsorts

Good Morning All
Allsorts Challenge this week is hosted by Brenda and the theme is Magical or Mystical.
She would like to see anythng Mystical - Fairies, Elves etc.
I had this lovely Fairy Wooden cut out in my stash since I was on the DT for Hobbycutz, so decided to use this.
Mounted onto some lovely paper with butterflies and a bird on.
I added lots of bits from my stash, butterflies, sentiments and some gorgeous Angel / Fairy wing Stick Pins.

Very pleased with this one.

Camelia Ring

I love how this card turned out.

I used John Lockwood Camelia ring stamp, embossed in white onto black card stock and coloured with Mica paints.

I mounted it onto card embossed with CE  Leafy Montage.

The dots of pink Cosmic Shimmer are to hide odd bits of embossing powder!!!!

Hollies Hair Slide Box

Good Morning All

This is another Ferrero Rocher Choccy box I altered for Hollie.

I took it with me when  I visited last month and I filled it with Easter Chocs.

Also, whenever I visit, I take lots of hair slides and elastics and I thought this would be a great box for Hollies Mum to store them in.

I just embellished it with lots of doilies, ribbon, gems, bits and bobs from stash.

Alot of this stuff I have had for years.

Some I have collected from charity shops.

With a Cherry on Top for Allsorts

Good Morning All

Allsorts Challenge this week is hosted by Helene and she would love to see anything 

with a Cherry on Top.

I did struggle to find an image for this one but I knew I had an acrylic stamp somewhere in my stash but could I find it?  I searched through my box three times before I finally spotted it  stuck in with another set.!!!!

I made it a nice bright card as the Sentiment is 'Keep Smiling'.

I dont know whose stamp it is but I painted with Mica paints.

So 80's for MAWTT

Good Morning All

Moving Along With The Times is hosted by our lovely Lena this fortnight and she has chosen the theme of So 80's.

Now I will admit, this was abit of a challenge for me.

80's were my very fave time of my life, the boys were little, music was great.

I had been to see Michael Jackson at Wembley and Aintree.

Loved Duran Duran and Spandau Ballet.

Life was great, we were not rich but we were happy.

Anyway, I found it hard to decide what to go with, images of my fave bands or somthing political.

Anyway, here goes.

We were very lucky (my first hubby & I) that our parents lived close by and we were able to party when we wanted to as they were always willing to babysit. 

Sorry, that sounds like we were out all the time, we were able to go out every Saturday though.

How I loved the 80's.

Pink & Pearly for Craft Rocket

Good Morning All

Craft Rocket challenge this time is 'Pink & Pearly'.

I made my fave style again, a Box of flowers.

Lots of pinks and different styles of

flowers.

This was for a ladies 70th Birthday.

I love making these, 

so easy and yet so effective.

Whoever you give them to, they are always so pleased and impressed.
