Homemade Pins

Good Evening All
I just wanted to show you some of the pins I have made from my stash of beads and from some  bracelets I have bought today.  See my candy pics to see more of the gorgeous charms I get from these bracelets.  They are only 1 euro each, thats about 80p.  I think they are a real bargain.

I use the pin heads that I use for jewellery - earrings, necklaces etc.  They  are probably not as strong as proper hat pins but when they are stuck to a card I dont think it matters.   I shall be putting some in my candy.  I hope you like them and will join in with my candy to celebrate the birth of my grand daughter when she does arrive

Todays card is one of my favourites - lilac, flowers and pretty things.

Square aperture card and I made a criss cross trellis over aperture

Peeloff butterflies stuck on acetate and cut out

It's a Man Thing

Good Morning All
Hope all is well with everyone and you all had a nice weekend.

Todays card or, rather, creation is one I have had made for ages and ages.  I just decided to get it out and decorate it up to get on the stall next week.  With it being shades of grey, I decided to make it a male card.  So all I have done is stick some ready made embellishments on it and afew peeloffs - Husband and Happy Birthday.

I,m sure what you would call this style of card but I think I found it on You tube.  What a mine of information that is, you can find out how to do anything on there.  That is where I learnt how to colour with my Promarkers.

Good Morning All

Another week flown by and time for another challenge at Love to Create.  This week the sponsor is Sassy Studios and they will give the winner 2 images.  Photo inspired theme.
I used too love roller skating when I was a youngster, many years ago!!!!!  Takes me back to the long summer holidays.

My card for the DT is one of their images called Sassy Roller and I coloured her with Promarkers in the given colours of pinks, greens, blues and yellows.

Good Afternoon All
I,m upstairs with TV on watching the mens final at Wimbledon while John watches the Grand Prix downstairs.  I thought I would post this while I watch it.
This is  a criss cross card with a smaller card inside
The images are from Daisy & Dandelion rub ons and everything  else from stash.  Not too sure about lace and doillies on a male card but I think it looks OK.

Acetate Baby Card

Good Afternoon All
Hope you are all good today and those of you that live in the UK, not too damp.  We are watching the qualifying for the Grand Prix and the weather looks awful.  I spoke to my son this morning, in the North West, and he said it was quite nice there, sohopefully, you all may be having good weather.

I saw this idea on C&C a while ago.  The front of the card is cut and a piece of acelate inserted to replace the card cut away.  I decided to use a border punch on each edge.  The gem swirls are from Zva Creations that I won a while ago on a blog hop. Ribbon, tag (New Baby) and embellishment were bought in USA quite afew years ago.
 think it looks pretty and sweet, hope you do too.

Good Evening All

I,ve been watching the tennis today and still watching Murray and Tsonga.

Todays card is a Christmas one.  Over on Docrafts I joined in Snoflakes challenge to make a Christmas card every week and this week I have made quite afew.  In November 2010, I was in the UK and I bought a couple of magazines.  One was Making Cards and I cant remember the other one but it had a great big bag of Crafters Companion Christmas papers and decoupage.   I still have some left for this year  and this is what I have been using.

Is is a lovely cute decoupage of two penguins on a sledge.

Summer Holidays

Good Morning all

Today is the start of a brand new monthly Forever Friends Challenge and this month we are sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps.  The theme is Summer Holidays.

For my card I chose 2 bugaboo images (because I,m greedy) and coloured with my Promarkers.  I made a double twisted easel from a DL bright yellow card blank.  Put tangerine paper for an insert.  Some ice cream sundaes paper from stash (I think it was a freebie in a magazine).  Added some Papermania spotty buttons, Forever Friends sentiments strip, peeloff Happy Birthday and a homemade sentiment for easel stand.
