Reminder for Outlawz Twisted Challenge

 Hi 

Here is a reminder post for Outlawz Twisted Challenge and the theme this month is Pinks.

This is coloured on parchment on the front with Polychromo crayons.

As  explained in my previous post on Wednesday but I will explain again.

This came about because one of my Craft group was telling me about a course she bought  on Claritystamp.com about colouring on parchment, so I thought I would have a go.  I looked on You Tube and found a very old video by GeminiCrafts,  Wendy Walters.

Then I  went on Etsy - KCH Digital Design, to buy some floral outline images and found 100 for less than a couple of quid.

I made another card too, suitable for today|!!!

Using Clarity Crafts Embedders.

Very happy with these two and I am really enjoying my colouring again.

Colouring

 Good Morning

If you follow me on Facebook you may have already seen a couple of these cards.

My friend Eve, from my craft group, was telling me about a course she followed on Claritystamp uk about colouring on parchment.

As I do enjoy colouring I thought I would have a go.

Then I  went on Etsy - KCH Digital Design, to buy some floral outline images and found 100 for less than a couple of quid.There is no outline on the flower, just colours so you need a well sharpened crayon too.

This one is two backgrounds  -  one from Clarity and one of my pages from my Reverse Colouring book.

Very happy with these and thoroughly enjoyed the colouring.

Cupcake Inspirations

Good Morning

Today is the start of Cupcake Inspirations Challenge and the theme is 

Love is in The Air

Surprisingly, I made a Notebook!!!

The paper is from LOTV and the rest of the embellishments are from my Junk Journal stash.

The cover is Kraft card and pages are offcutes from my card inserts.

Love making these and very useful too.

 Good Morning

The challenge I set my Craft Group on Friday was

Squares

Again, my card was made using scraps.

Punched squares for the corners and strips of waste for the background and the sentiment topper is from a Tonic sheet.

I nice easy theme I think.

I have shown these cards on Facebook.  I used last years calendar  for these cute doggy images.  Of course, these cards all went in a homemade box for the animal charity to raffle.

Here is a lovely quote I saw on the internet.

And this leads me on to my friend Val, who passed away in December.  She had been ill for quite a while and I still can't believe that she has gone.  She was my best friend over here and we did lots of crafty stuff together, infact, thats how we met, at a Craft Fayre.

Her daughter asked me to help clear her craft stuff and I have sold most of it and raised over  480euro for Animal charities, causes very close to Val's heart.

Sunday on Wednesday

Due to the 1st on the month falling on Sunday, here is my usual Sunday post  -  my challenge cards for my Craft Group.

Using a Clarity Stencil, drawn it with a fine point pen and then coloured with felt tip pens.

Floral for MAWTT

 

Hi Everyone

Moving Along With The Times Challenge this month is 

Floral

and that theme has been chosen by me.

I had this die cut on my desk from a previous die cutting session. It.s cut from linen effect lilac card

Very pretty I think.

And I had to add a butterfly too!!!!

So I added some punched parchment flowers with gem centres onto some of the branches.

Outlawz Challenges Feb

 Hi

Two Outlawz challenges start today.  The first is ABAC (Anything But A Card)

I made Notebooks again but a different style.  These are more a Handbag size, for quick notes and reminders.

These are literally made from scraps.  The pages are pieces that are cut off A4 papers for my card inserts so are about 2.5" wide and 11 long and folded in half.

The covers are from my offcuts folder then decorated with bits form my Junk journal stash.

I Gave these to my Doctors surgery staff at Christmas.

        The next challenge is Outlawz Twisted Formerly Colour. 

                  So its shades of Pink through Maroon.

Again, offcuts of coloured card arranged in strips, a lovely Cupcake topper, a diecut and afew punched butterflies.

I think one of them will be going with me to the UK in March for my Grandaughters birthday.

Scraps

Here are four cards from the files using scraps which, as you know, I love to do.

I'm going to try to enter more challenges this year! 

We will see how that goes!

I haven't shown you any of the gifts I give out at my group so here are last weeks.

I added a homeade gem and butterfly on each one.  I made these gems years ago so trying to use some stash, as we all are!!!
