About Me

My photo
Alicante, Spain
Hi. I live in Spain with my partner. I am retired and LOVE it. I love life here but I do miss my family back in the UK, two sons and three sisters and my Mum. Crafting is my life, I do something every single day. In the past it has helped me get through some bad times in my life. One such bad time was when my first grandson died aged just 14 months. He had been born 8 weeks prem but was very healthy and was growing into a beautiful, bonny boy. It was such a shock when the call came. A day never passes when I dont think of him. I am now Nanna again to grand daughter, Hollie, born July 2012, and Tess born March 2016. This is my younger son and his partner. I now have another Grandson, Noah, born Nov 2013 to my elder Son and they have 3 daughters Aurora, born March 2015 and Arabella, born August 2017 and Arianna born 2019. Thanks for visiting and I hope you enjoy my makes. Please leave a comment so that I know you have visited me. I love reading them all. xxxx

News

Good Morning All
I have been so busy trying to get lots of cards made as there WAS going to be a fayre on 11th July at the usual British bar here in the village, just to be told yesterday that it was to be no longer, no permit allowed so they cannot have stalls.  The same thing happened last November, then at Easter , the Mayor let them have a permit, what goes through his head, I dont know but it is so flippin' annoying.

Anyway, onto better things, we are having a Birthday Party on 26th June for Moving Along With The Times.

Thursdays challenge will include a blog hop and there will be quite alot of prizes available, including one to win on my blog.
xxxxxxxx

This is a Stamp Fairy digi coloured with Promarkers, homemade sentiment tags, Spellbinders 'Fleur de Lis' square, scrunched ribbon and buttons given to me at Christmas by my friend Val.
Have a good Sunday.

Good morning Wendy, I have to say your new font makes reading your blog so easy now. That's a shame your gayer has been cancelled, these folk don't realise the work that goes into getting things ready, and the time. It will be a case of " it's not lining our pockets " so they are not interested. Your card is so cute. Hazel xx

Hi Wendy
Cute card but what a shame about the fayre. I thought you did these to raise money for the local underprivileged in which case its nuts for them to not give you a permit.
Hope you have a great week anyway.

Good morning Wendy,
Thank you for changing the "font" makes reading so much easier.
What a pity about your Fayre they can raise so much needed funds.
