I have been playing with my Oxides on these two cards.

This first one is a Clarity stamp and mask set.

I added afew cut outs that were on my desk, a leaf and a flower.

I think this butterfly  may be Clarity too

Butterflies are abound in this post.

Along with Oxides and stencilling.

The images are digitals from Sharm Studio over on Etsy.

This background is abit grungy and I like it.

These next three are inked and stencilled but all the same layout.

I really like these and nice, quick cards for the charity boxes.

Inks & Stencils

 Good Morning All

A couple of cards, Inky, Stencilled and Stamped, so nice and flat for posting.

The first one is stamped with an Archival ink I bought at craft shop and a lightly stencilled background.

This one is abit smaller for the charity box.  Oxide inks blended for the background-  A tree stencil and stamping.

Which one do you like the best??

 Good Morning All

I am getting ready to go to UK to see the family on Sunday, just for afew days.  I have arranged it so that I dont miss any classes, so back on Wednesday  ready for Journaling on Thursday.

My card to day is a small  5x5.

Playing with my Oxides and a stamp set that my Friend Val was getting rid of and I thought the tree would be good for a Sympathy card.

One more for a charity box.

 Good Morning All

Last week at Craft Club I took my Oxides and stencils and afew stamps.

I made quite afew toppers then made into cards when I got home.

This 1st one, I made into a 'New Home' card.

Plain & Simple made into a Sympathy card.

Then the rest are Birthday cards.

Hard to choose a fave, what about you?

My Time To Crafts 513 - Shades of Blue

Good Morning All 

The them this time over at My Time To Craft Challenge is

Shades of Blue

I inked the background piece with Sapphire and china blue Oxide inks.

Cut the Happy Birthday die 4 times and glued together for depth then mounted onto Mirri card.

Added afew tiny stamps from JND on the oval.Inked the honeycomb diecut too.  Then added a few glass gems.

Stickers & Stamping

 Good Morning All

Today I have a couple of A6 size cards to show you.

I dont make alot of this size but as I am getting afew boxes ready for the charities to raffle, this is a good size to make.

This first one is an Oxide background with abit of stencilling and  random stamping and a sticker from my JJ stash.

This one is using hammered card, abit of inking around the edges.

A pierced oval diecut and another sticker.

I stamped the sentiment and added afew raindrop gems.

The sticker do help to make quick cards.

Oxides

 Good Morning All

Back to playing with inks and stamps today.

I inked all the backgrounds first then decided what to do with them.

This one I inked through  a leftover from die cutting an oval.

A beautiful sentiment in very fine script.

The honeycomb die is one I keep by my cutting machine and use any leftover pieces of card, so I always have some cut ready for use.

This one has a scrap piece of parchment added with words and a flower sticker from my Junk Journal stash.

I am really enjoying making this style of card, let me know what you think.

Oxides, Stamping & Stenciling

 Good Morning All

A couple of cards today using inks, stamps and stencils.

One of my Junk Journal ladies gave me a JND magazine complete with the stamp, emboss folder and die so I was playing with the stamp for these two cards.

I used a selection on Oxides for the background, then a stencil on this 1st one and a text stamp.  Then I stamped the image and coloured with watered down oxide ink.

I am entering this one into Allsorts Challenge

We Love to Create 

I love the colours of this one.  This sentiment is  so pretty, very fine.  Random stamps in the background.

I have quite afew more to show you next time.

I have been playing with my Oxides and some stamps.

A bit of stenciling too and splashes of water onto the oxides.

Then on both of them I added some floral stickers.

I think I like this one best, very happy with it.

The sentiment is from an LOTV digi set.

Happy Sunday Challenge

Here is my challenge card for my Craft Group although we are still not meeting due to shop being closed for holidays

It is another of my doodles.

Mounted onto oxide coloured card and embossed with Mosaic Leaves EF from Creative Expressions.

Crafty Friends & MAWTT Challenges

 Good Morning All

This month for Moving long With The Times Challenge we have a theme of Anything Goes.

Back in May, my friend in the UK sent me a birthday present of some silver heart shaped earrings and they were presented on a card.

So I cut the image out and covered the holes where the earrings were with hearts shaped gems.  I mounted it onto two different colours of blue card and punched the corners and added pearls and a butterfly.

Crafty Friends Challenge this month is a chart of Summer Colours.

For My card, I recycled a card I received in my Clarity parcel back in June.  I cut the inky background and the sentiment from it.

I added one of my doodled flowers for the topper

So both these cards are recycled and I m happy with them.

Crafty Friends & MAWTT Challenges

 

Good Morning All

I shall start with Crafty Friends Challenge  which has a theme of

Embossing

I made two cards, very similar.

I used CE Mosaic Leaves EF.

The tag toppers came from one of my crafty friends.

I helped tidy her craft room, way back in March and she disposed of alot of stuff so I grabbed some bits and these were among them.

I rubbed over the embossing with Johns (Crafts Too) Mica Paints.

Added  a sentiment tag on each one.

I was playing with my Oxides and water, and had quite a selection to choose from but as I was doodling at the time too, I chose colours that matched the doodled flower.

Great fun to play with.

Happy Sunday Challenge

 Good Morning All

My cards for my challenge this week at my Craft Club are these two using Oxides.

The stamps are from John when he was at Creative Expressions.

The gifts I gave out were Tesco Caramel Bars as we now have a shop called Overseas which sells alot of Tesco products.

I made pouches for them from Amazon packaging and decorated with some of my Junk Journal ephemera.

The last challenge, 2 weeks ago, was a sketch.

My card featuring some gorgeous ribbon from Crafty Ribbons UK called Animal Cuddles.
