My Time To Craft Challenge this time is to use 

A Clear Element

like acetate or gems.

I used clear dew drops on this card.

I enjoy making this style of card.

Oxide inks blended and a silhouette stamp from AAL&Create  #661 which I won on an Allsorts challenge and love it.

Use Fibre for MTTC

 Good Morning All

My Time To Craft challenge this time is

Use Fibre(fiber)  Fabric Lace etc.

I made a Snippet roll which is used on a page in a journal, either as a pocket or a bellyband to hold an Envelope.

This is made from scraps of material, ribbon, lace, paper, buttons, charms, anything really.

This is it before I took it to the sewing maching and zigzag stitched it-

Once stitched it looks better I think.

Afew close ups.

I like to add a ribbon loop on the side to hang a dangle charm.

I use these, as I said, to make a bellyband.  It is glued at top and bottom onto a page and an envelope or journal card can be held underneath it.

Or, cut  a length of a make it into a pocket.

I love making these and keep a stash ready to use.

Heart Base Card for MTTC

 Good Morning All

My Time To Craft Challenge this time is

Heart Shaped Card Base

I made this gorgeous card for my eldest sisters Golden Wedding Anniversay.  I have since personalised it for her and her hubby.

I used a 8x8 card base and cut it into aheart shape.

I had to snip the bottom up so that it would stand up.

A diecut heart and champagne bottle and glasses. 

I tied pink paper ribbon around the heart before I glued it to the base.

I really am proud of this one.

Oval Base Card for MTTC Challenge

 Good Morning All

My Time To Craft Challenge this fortnight is

Oval shaped Base card

I cut a 5x7 base card with Creative Expressions Stitched ovel Die.

I used the same die to cut a fancy Mirri card and glued on front.

And very simply added a Happy Birthday diecut.

Simples!!!!!

We have a worldwide DT so why not pop over and visit them all.

I cut a 6x4 card to shape for this one.  I bought the arch die cut 

on-line ages ago and added the leaf one from Creative Expressions.

I decided it suited a Sympathy card.

My Time To Craft Challenge this time is

Square Base Card

So that's a nice easy one for me as most of my cards are square.

Pinks and reds on this one.  A homemade paper heart charm, mini butterflies and Happy Birthday paper.

Plus some lovely Eiffel tower ribbon.

I think this will be  a popular challenge.

Tag shape card for MTTC

 Good Morning All

My Time To Craft Challenge is another shaped base card.

It is a TAG shaped card or Becca calls it aDog eared card, which I haven't heard of!!!

I used an A6 card and cut the corners off.

The topper I cut into a tag shape, punched a hole and added twine.

I added a stamped sentiment and a doggie topper from a pad I got from a Craft shop quite afew years ago.

Cute or what??'

Circles for MTTC

 Good Morning All

My Time To Craft Challenge is

Circle Base Card

I cut a 7x7 card into a Circle, then stuck another circle on top as I had to leave part off for the fold.

Pretty printed card with afew diecuts and a bow.

I added some pearls onto the leaf diecut.

I had decided on an Easel card, Ive not  made one for years.  But then thought that it was not really the base card.

Pretty floral paper on the base and a large pink circle with lots of  3D Butterflies.

 Good Morning All

My Time To Craft Challenge this time is 

Rectangle Base Card

I made two cards for my blog.  Same papers and same card base.

The set is RECTANGLE BASE CARD so mine are 5x7 with deckled edges and a lovely peach pearlised envelope.

I added a die cut under the image of Butterflies and afew mini butterflies.

This one is a fairy in a mason jar

We have a worldwide design team so why not pop over to the blog and have a peep.

Someone Special for MTTC

 Good Morning All

My Time To Craft Challenge this time is chosen by MAria and her theme is

Celebrate Someone Special

My Someone Special is my eldest Grandaughter Hollie, and its her Birthday later in the year and this is the card I have made for her.

This is an 8x8 scalloped card and  I used the Paris grid plate from Clarity Groovi to do the border. and added an LOTV topper.

Peeloffs for the sentiments of Happy Birthday and For Someone Special.

I have these squares of coloured parchment left over from when I cut squares of parchment for my group.  I put the die in the middle then I have the leftover to make a card with.

Clover or Shamrock for MTTC

 Good Morning All

My Time To Craft is starting with a new challenge today with a theme of  

Clover or Shamrock

As I didn't have andthing suitable in my stash, I decided to draw one in my Sakura 4x4 Sketchbook.

If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram, you will know I love doodling and I bought this book when I was on holiday in Cordoba early last year.

I am no expert by far but I enjoy it and find it quite therapeutic.

I used 1 image,  2 Squares and 3 Pearls.

Originally the theme was fave colour combo and this is the card I made for that one.

Pink and Lilac.

My Time To Craft Challenge this time is 

HEARTS

So I made some Dangles.

I punched  these from scraps of paper and glued 4 or 5 together, attached chain and jump rings then added a bulb pin.

So they are all ready to use in my junk journals whenever I need them.

I sometimes use these on the little gift boxes I give out at my Craft group so it's handy to have them ready for use.

Use A Sentiment for MTTC Challenge

 Good Morning All

Welcome to the first challenge of the year for My Time To Craft.

The theme this time has been chosen by Alison and it is

Use A Sentiment

My card is fairly simple and features a 'Thanks'  diecut from Creative Expressions and the Ivy die from JND.

I cut the sentiment from the pearlised dark pink card then used that some card as the mat.

I added some diagonal embossed lines in the tope right corner and shaped the Ivy with a ball tool.

We have a worldwide team so why not pop over and see all the other DT's work

Something New for MTTC

 Good Morning All

I hope you have had a wonderful Christmas.

As this post goes live we will still be away on holiday for the Christmas Duration.

Anyway, back to crafting and today is time for a new challenge for 

My Time To Craft and the theme is  

Something New 

chosen by Margaret.

I was lucky enough to win a challenge over at Allsorts and I collected my prize when I went over to UK  for Mums 100th Birthday in November.  The prize was a wonderful stamp set from AALL & Create.

So I stamped one of the flowers onto  a piece of plain white card then coloured with Oxides and a water brush.

Inked around the edges and added afew dewdrops.

Matted the piece onto brown card and added a sentiment.

I'm really happy with this card and the stamps stamp beautifully.

This is my first time using this brand.

Its time for My Time To Craft Challenge and this time the theme is

So, of course, I delved into my LOTV Toppers and found this cutie dancing on  a Snow topped wall.

I used papers and bits from my Christmas Stash.

The wool bow has bits of sparkle in too.

Not A Card for MTTC

 Good Morning All

My Time To Craft Challenge this time  has been chosen by Maria.

Not A Card

So, guess what, I made a Folio.  It is Sunflower themed from a kit by FabiArtStudio on Etsy.

There are pockets, tags and journal cards all included in the kit and I added a notepad made from card insert offcuts.

This is the front  tied with seam binding  and a Dangle added to the spine.

A back view once folded out, there is a pocket on the back with journal cards.

Inside, the notebook is on the left and under it is another pocket.

This is inside the front fold with a pocket with tags added and the notebook on the right.

I love making these and they make great gifts or Happy Mail or I sell them for the charities or include one with a journal.

Stencils for MTTC

 Good Morning All

My Time To Craft Challenge this time is

Chosen by Tamara.

I made a Thank You card as I like to include them in the charity boxes that I make.

I used a Circle negative from diecutting and coloured with Oxides, blended through red to lemon.

The florals are Distress  inks.

I added afew dew drops.  Then matted onto red and black card.

This is the stencil I used, not sure whose it is.
