Pretty in Pink

 Good Morning All

Pretty Pink cards today using the Sentiment Toppers from Tonic that I bought in a sale at my local Craft Shop.

This is a fracture style card which I like making.

And this one using scraps and offcuts.

Both pretty though, dont you think?

Talking of Pink.

I cane across this weed growing at the side if the road near where I live.  It has white, mixed abd pink flowers on it.

Rico thought it was interesting  too!!

CAS for MAWTT

 Good Morning All

Moving Along With The Times Challenge time and the theme is

CAS (Clean & Simple)

Helen chose this theme and I think its a good one as I know many struggle with CAS as I do.  

We all want to add more embellishments but here is my version.

Abit of stencilling and a stamped branch and sentiment.

I did do some embossing in the top left corner too

I think it passes for CAS dont you??

Happy Sunday Challenge

Good Morning All

I set a Bingo chart challenge on Friday for the Craft Group.

I went with Pink - Baby   - Teddy

Chart to follow  - 3 in a row.

The gifts I gave out were Mint Viscount biscuits in a little envelope made from book pages.

Summer Florals for MTTC

 Good Morning All

My Time To Craft Challenge starts this morning and the theme is

Summer Florals 

chosen by Alyson.

I used a digi backed onto bright yellow card and I embossed the top left corner.

I mounted this onto a leafy green paper, again, backed onto yellow card.

Added a yellow bow and a sentiment.

This was a flower in full bloom on a bar terrace across the road from us.  Isn't it gorgeous.  I used it on one of my Collage Journal pages too.

We have a worldwide DT so why not pop over and visit them.

Sentiment Toppers

 Good Morning All

I bought a couple of sets of Sentiment Toppers from my local shop when they were on offer, they  are made by Tonic.

I thought they would be great for quick cards and they were.  These are smallish cards, 5x5, so will be going in the boxes I make for Raffle prizes.

There were a mix of sentiments, Birthday, Thanks Get well etc.

Again, I used leftovers  - bits of embossed card and odd pieces.

Happy Sunday Challenge

 Good Morning All

Back at Craft Group on Friday and we had abit of a party as one of the ladies is moving a bit further south.

So she brought some cake and fizz in.

We will miss Maggie, she is a character and loved by all.

I still set a challenge and this week was a sketch and here are two cards I made.  Sort of CAS but I like them.

I used some flower and leaf stickers from my Junk Journal stash.

The gifts I gave out were Gold and Silver Marker pens, which I had made pouches for.

 I didn't give out choccy as Maggie brought in Carrot cake yum yum.

 Good Morning All

Here are three cards using some gorgeous Ribbon From Crafty Ribbons Crafty Ribbons 

I used to be on their DT so  I still have some pieces.

These are card bases I make a my Craft Group on Fridays, using offcuts of embossed card and ribbon to hide the join.

I didn't add a topper on this one as I didn't think it needed it with such lovely bold ribbon.
