Outlawz Design Team Challenge for this month is a Sketch.

I made a Christmas card using a Hunkydory kit.

I added 3 Star charms with twine to match the sketch.

Nothing to report this week. I haven,t done much crafting as its so hot.

I had to buy a new computer as mine was old and extremely slow.

So instead of getting a laptop, I went for a desktop and very pleasantly surprised.  Instead of a great big box under the table its now a very small, maybe 6x6 flat box that sits along side the screen and a nice big screen.

So getting used to it and Windows 11`s new ways.

And a couple of pics of Rico for good measure too.

So relaxed, keeping cool on the tile floor.

Reminder For Outlawz Twisted Challenge

 Hi Everyone

Today is the reminder for Outlawz Twisted Challenge where the theme is 

Greetings

I kept to the same style of card as the 1st of the month, using a sentiment stamp for my Greeting.

I used my Oxides and stencil for the background.

I had this die cut circle  on my desk so heat embossed the sentiment

Added afew punched mini butterflies.

All looks good.

Cupcake Inspirations DT

 Hi 

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge starts today.

And it is a colour challenge of Red White and Blue.

I used Fired Brick and Saphire Blue Oxides for the background.

Stamped the butterflies and sentiment then painted in the colours on the larger butterfly.

And, of course, I made another card.

I used water colour paints for this one and stamped  over the top.

Added afew mini punched butterflies.

I did make these two cards afew weeks ago, as I do like to work well ahead.

I have lost my mojo abit recently, I think its the hot weather which puts me off going in my craft room as its so hot in there.

But also, I have lost interest in my craft group and classes, so I am having a break from all except my Junk journal group which is being held in one of the ladies house  so its nice and cool.

Sadly, losing my mojo means I have lost my interest in my blog and my You Tube channel.   I'm hoping my enthusiasm  returns soon.

My sis arrives next week and then we go back to UK with her for family  visits, both mine and John's.

I have no Challenge card to show today as Friday was the last day of my Craft Group for a while as the shop is closing Fridays through the Summer and I am not sorry as it is so hot.  And to be honest, I have not been enjoying the group as much since my best friend  Val passed away in December.  I still miss her so much.

I released a YT video yesterday making these cute little paperclips using lots of tiny scraps which is good.

I put this one next to a ruler to show the size.

Mindless doodling

These are some pages from my Reverse Colouing Book

I may have shown some before, forgive me if that's so.

I have used some of these for backgrounds on my cards, they are too pretty not to really.

 I really like this one.

 And this one.

 Before doodling and see what you can in the colours and shapes.  Definitely  flowers in this one.

What do you think ?  Anyone else done this??

Hi

We finally had our Craft Group on Friday, although only afew of us.  Next week will be our last one for a while as the shop is reducing its hours for the Summer and Friday is one of their closed days.

So the challenge  this week is a sketch and this is my card.

I think it is Hunkydory. 

Mounted onto plain navy card and afew gems added to break in the background.

Colouring for MAWTT

 Hi

My 2nd post today is for Moving Along With The Times Challenge where the theme for this month  is 

To use a Colouring Medium

Well the only medium I use for colouring images  is Polychromo Pencils and I have made two cards for this one.

This one is a pre printed card from Inky something (I cant remember the full name)

I thought this would make a good Mans card.

This is one  on parchment paper where I put the image under the parchment and colour then there is no outline on the top, which I think looks good.

I really enjoy doing these as they dont take too long and I can do them on my laptray.

I bought the images from Etsy, cheap as chips.

OUTLAWZ Challenges

 Hi Everyone

My first post today is for the Outlawz Challenges.

This one is Anything But A Card so I have made some Envelopes from large book pages.  I use these for my Craft  groups little gifts.

I put a tab on the flap and punch a hole for either ribbon or twine to secure the closure.

The book I used for a Railways around the World as the pages were quite large.

I add some ephemera,  either quotes or images.

And this is what I put inside, a little pack of three choc covered  biscuits.

The theme is

So I kept mine simple and went with 'Happy Birthday'
