 Hi Everyone

I hope you all had a good Festive season, Christmas, New Year etc.

Todays card is my group challenge card even though we dont meet up again until the 16th as shop is having a good break.

The theme I have chosen is

Animals

A nice easy one.

A little cluster added to this one for abit of interest.

The backgrounds made using offcut strips of card (a great way to use them)

Sentiments are stamped onto Kraft card.

Stencils &/or Dies for MAWTT

 Hi again

I'm back with Moving Along With The Times Challenge and the theme is

Use Stencils and or Dies

I went with Stencils as I like playing around with my Oxides. The first two cards are using the same stencil from Clarity and its one of my faves.

I added afew butterflies and flowers.

Not sure where this stencil is from.

Added the punched circles that were on my desk!!

Not to sure about this one, what do you think?

Outlawz & Twisted Challenges

 Hi Everyone 

And A very Happy New Year to you all.

I have three challenges starting today.

First is the Outlawz Twisted Challenge with a theme chosen by Margaret.

This topper is a very old one I found in my stash.

And, of course, I made another one too.

The next one is Outlawz ABAC Challenge (Anything But A Card)

The theme is AG with an option of Deja Vu.

As you all know  I make journals and notebooks so the Deja Vu is a post from  November 2021 when I made these notebooks for a DT challenge.

So this  Notebook  is a Remember Notebook.

Each page has a pocket with an A4 sheet of paper with dates and writing space to add things to remember like birthdays and  appointments etc.

Infact,  I love it so much I think I will make more for gifts and one for myself.

Pixie Powders

 Hi Everyone

Well, by the time this post goes out, the festivities will be over except for tonight and we will be celebrating by John Cooking and staying at home!!  Very exciting I know but thats how we do it.  I dont think we have been out on New Year's Eve all the time we have lived here, sorry, we did once,we were invited to a party which we didnn't enjoy!!

Also I have had a sad few weeks, losing my dear Brother in Law and last week I lost my best friend over here in Spain, my lovely Val J.

I shall miss her dearly in my crafting world and my personal world, she listened to my moans aswell as sharing my happy times too. 

I shall really miss her and already do.

Back to cards.  Today is Pixie Powders.  I very seldom use them but they do make lovely backgrounds.

This one has a sheet of vellum over the top.

I think this one looks like a waterfall.

All so pretty.  What do you think??

Christmas Clusters

 Hi Everyone.

I hope you all had a good Christmas.  Ours was very quiet, just another day really.  People go mad, shopping for food and buying gifts.  It's the same here although the Spanish celebrate 6th Jan more as that is  Kings day.

Today I have a You Tube video out for a collaboration for Tracie Fox.

Christmas Advent  Clusters.

I use these to create pockets or Belly Bands in my Junk Journals.

Although I wasnt at my Craft Group Meal on Friday as I was travelling back to Spain after being in UK supporting my Sis who lost her hubby at beginning of December to Parkinsons & Dementia.

I still set them a challenge and it is to make a card for a  

MAN.

Of course, my LOTV toppers come into play as do my digital prints too.

Animals

 Hi

Todays selection if cards is Animals.  I think  the toppers are from a set I bought in my local Craft Shop.

They all go in the boxes I make up for raffle prizes for the charities so they help great causes.

I am presently in the UK supporting my sister who sadly lost her hubby at beginning of December.  He had been in a care home for  quite a while and sadly went down hill fast, suffering with Parkinsons and dementia.

This is the card I made for my Craft Group Challenge, although I wasn't  at group on Friday  as I'm in UK for family funeral.  

I left Eve in charge.

I chose a theme of Florals.

This was a topper I found in my stash, not known where it came from though.  But it is very pretty and I just added it to a shaped card base, not much alse needed.

Rug

 Hi Everyone

Today I share with you a rug I have Crocheted.  

As it is winter now, the tile floor is very cold when I do my daily exercises, hence making myself a rug!!

It is a Waffle stitch and I used very chunky wool.  So it is quite thick.

I backed it with some non-stick rubbery stuff I bought at my local China store.  I used a big running stitch to stich it in place.  Not the neatest but it serves the purpose.

I am heading over to UK in the morning as my BIL passed away on Sunday last, so going to spend some time with my Sis.

 Good Morning

There was no craft on Friday as the shop was shut for a long holiday weekend, both Saturday and Monday are holidays here in Spain.

So I thought I would clear afew cards from my files, getting ready for the New Year!!!

This idea came from one of my Groovi ladies.  She had seen this style on Pinterest or Instagram so I thought I would have a go.

Just punch some hearts and arrange in a tree shape.

These are two Groovi cards from my stash

Very quick, easy cards but still looks good.

Gift Bags for Choccy

 Hi Everyone

Todays Not A Card is Gift Bags

I bought a pad of these from my local Craft Shop, they are from Crafters Companion.

So obviously, they are all flat so all I had to do was glue down one side and the bottom and thats it, done.

They are a decent size too when completed, about 4 x 6 x 1.

Sunday again and I have had a busy week crafting.

I have joined afew collaborations for December so busy with those.

Also, getting all my Christmas gifts for my groups sorted out, cards written and getting organised.

Anyway, here is this weeks challenge card for my Craft Group.

This is the card I made for my Groovi Group on Tuesday.

A theme of Flowers & Frames.

.

The flowers are punched and the leaves are a Clarity Die and a Groovi plate, and obviously the frame and sentiment are Groovi plates.

I have also started baking my own bread and here is some delicious spicy squash soup with a couple of slices from my homebaked baguette.

Do any of you bake your own bread?
