I was a little late going to Craft Group on Friday as I had a Hospital appointment, or rather 3 of them.

 I had problems with my hearing since September so after medication these were my follow ups with hearing tests and specialist. All ok now thank goodness, you dont realise how much you need something until  you no longer have it.

Anyway, this weeks challenge is Butterflies.

My card is using Embossed Butterfly folder and some of my mini punched Butterflies with a diecut.

Quite CAS  but very pretty I think.

Truly Scraps

 Hi Everyone

These cards are all made using my scraps.

The backgrounds from strips of card leftover and the sentiment on leftover pieces of parchment.

They are all the same really, I just thought I would show them all.

Some for men and some for ladies.

My Craft Group Challenge this week is a sketch and I made 2 cards for this as they are Man cards.

The images, I aquired are from some craft stuff from one of my Groovi ladies, I think they are from CraftsUPrint.  The papers are from an LOTV 8x8 paper pad and a craft magazine.

Anything Spring for MAWTT

My second post today, as it's the 1st, is Moving Along With The Times Challenge and a theme chosen by Brenda

Anything Spring

So I made and Easter card for 2 of my Grandaughters, Hollie And Tessie.

I used an LOTV Topper with a bunny and daffodils, added my own sentiment, a doily and some gems and punched flowers in the bottom corner.

I left this at their house when I visited last month with a little treat inside too (money), that's what they are most interested in now, more than Easter eggs!!

Outlawz Challenges

 Hi Everyone

Today is Outlawz challenge day, both ABAC (Anything But A Card) & Twisted.

First I have my ABAC make and it is my tiny butterflies that I punch out and layer and add gems or pearls.

This is the punch, or rather, one of the punches I use.  It is about 1 cm across and I punch a base from coloured paper or thin card and a top layer from parchment.

I use a good glue like Glossy Accents and do the layers first.

These I added blue diamond gems on, left over from Diamond Art.

These I added Green diamond gems.

I these I added mixed colours of  pearls.

I use these on my cards, gift boxes and I also add to the raffle prize for my Craft Group.

Die cuts

A couple of cards using some die cuts.

Whenever I use my Gemini I always try to fill the plate and this is some of them.

The gems in the corners are left over from a Diamond art project.

And some of my punched butterflies for decoration.

Two quick cards for the charity boxes.

Well it feels like I've never been away!!!!

Back to Craft Group on Friday and this is the card I made for their little challenge.

Use Scraps

This is a great way of using scraps.

I tear them into small pieces and then sort of collage them together and stick under an aperture.

You could ink the white edges but I quite like the white standing out.

Then decorate with a small topper.

What do you think???

Crochet

Well  I am back from UK after a lovely  visit to my son and 2 grandaughters.

My foot is feeling lots better, not perfect yet but I can walk.

I have not been making cards while I had to rest my foot but lots of Groovi and Crochet. 

Here is the start of a new baby blanket  using a You Tube video from Alison Russell

It's a nice easy 2 row repeat using DK baby yarn.

I have also just completed  this shawl/cowl which I did most of while at Rick's last week.

It is a pale taupe colour. The photos are not a good representation of the true colour.

Again, it was a You Tube tutorial by claudetta 

I did go to my Groovi  group yesterday  so I will be getting back in my craftroom and making cards and videos again.
