Good Morning All

Well, wonderful news for John next Door as he announced on Tuesday, he is to appear on C&C, I knew this would happen for him, and it was the best move for him, going back to the UK, I miss him.

Charisma Challenge time again and the theme is 'Anything But a Card'.

I decided to recycle a small Pringles tub.

 I used this cute image from the Sponsor of fishes kissing, coloured with Promarkers.   Decorated with some paper I was given.

 Stuck some strips of gems around it and used  a couple of my crochet flowers on the top.

I gave this to Hollie when she visited, so sad now that they have gone home.  Both Mums here now so still busy.

I used this cute digi from the sponsor, coloured with Promarkers.  I made the card and then realised I had forgotten to use Acetate Gurghhhh  (senior moment  LOL)  so I put a sleeve on the card and decorated it with peeloffs - corners and lovely pink

I used a crochet butterfly and used my bead pins for the antennae.

Sparkle & Glitter

Good Morning All

This week the theme for Charisma Cardz Challenge is 'Sparkle & Glitter' and we are sponsored by Bugaboo  and Sassy Studio Designs.

I used a Bugaboo image and coloured with Promarkers

I added sparkle on the bubbles but I could not get it to photograph properly.


There is also glitter on the paper too, and pink and white glitter card borders.

Cheery Lynn Roses die for flowers, some with shiny pearl centres.  Pink gems added here and there.

Still trying to use up my peeloffs, so I stuck one on the envelope and one on the inside of the card.

Good Morning All

Use Something Not Meant For Crafting

Good Morning All

It is time for a new challenge over at Charisma Cardz and the theme is to use something not meant for crafting.

Now I must admit, I have used quite afew things in the past not bought for crafting eg, material I have cut off the hems of curtains HERE and HERE.  There are afew obvious things like buttons cut off clothes, bows cut off underwear, Cereal boxes .................................

So I had to put my thinking cap on for something else.  I used some plastic fishing line and attached a fish charm.  I coloured the Dr. Digi image 'Fishing Andy' with Promarkers and mounted it on X Cut die cuts.

I tied a bit of the same fishing line through the holes in the homemade sentiment.

The easel is propped against some  Dufex decoupage.

And I found this fish bead and thought it would go quite well with the colours and the theme.

Time to get Peeling

Good Morning All

It is time for Charisma Cardz Challenge and the theme is Time to Get Peeling and this means that we want to see your Peeloffs.  Now I know that so many of you dont use Peeloffs any more so this may be a challenge for you!!

I used two cupcake images form one of the sponsors - Digistamp Boutique and coloured with Promarkers.

I used bits of waste from the peeoff sheet below  to put in the corners of the small squares with a peeloff balloon in the centre.

The little parcels are diecut using a Quickuts die.

I stuck flowers and flourishes along each edge and a peeloff 'Happy Birthday' down each plain black part.


And this is how I use alot of my peeloffs now to use them up, I stick them on the envelopes.

I dont do distressed or Shabby very well but here goes.

Good Morning All

Charisma Cardz Challenge time and the theme is 'Vintage' 

I,m afraid I dont do 'vintage' or 'shabby' very well but here is my offering.

I was given some cards by Linda from 'Animal Aid' with these gorgeous images, sepia with a hint of colour.  I trimmed it down and matted it onto white card inked on edges.  Added lace, homemade 'Cheery Lynn' roses, sentiment which I thought was quite apt.

Inside I used a 'Stamp Fairy' sentiment and inked the edges again.

Fave Colour Combo

Good Morning All
It is time for Charisma Cardz Challenge again and the theme has been set by Jenni and it is Favourite Colour Combo.  When I see a card, I very often think that those colours look great together, so many combos, but I think this is an all time fave of mine, Pink and Black.

I used an image from one of the sponsors, Stamp Fairy and this  image is Two Pandas, I have coloured them more grey than black and white.  I have glittered the edge of the square with dark pink glitter and   have used satin ribbon in both colours to embellish, but other than that I  have kept it very plain, I hope you like it.

Fancy Flourishes

Good Morning All
Charisma Cardz Challenge time again and the theme has been set by Natalie - Fancy Flourishes.

I,ve tried to show in the picture how the image and flourishes are behind the window.


I,ve used brown and green ribbon and tied the sentiments on with twine.

This is a picture with the front folded back to show the image and flourishes.


I stamped some flourishes using 'My Paper World Stamps' and heat embossed them.  Added my bugaboo image and some die cut flourishes.  As the image it abit autumnal I used this die cut ( one of Johns Next Door) that has been on my desk for ages and used it as a window with acetate.  I added some of my homemade sentiments and liquid pearl dots on the branches.
