Inks & Stencils

 Good Morning All

A couple of cards, Inky, Stencilled and Stamped, so nice and flat for posting.

The first one is stamped with an Archival ink I bought at craft shop and a lightly stencilled background.

This one is abit smaller for the charity box.  Oxide inks blended for the background-  A tree stencil and stamping.

Which one do you like the best??

Happy Sunday Challenge

 Good Morning All

Back at craft on Friday and the challenge I set the ladies was a sketch.

I went with a New Home card as I dont keep many, if any, of those on stock.

The gifts I gave out were a double box with an orange Penguin on one side and afew gems and butterflies in the other.

Onto last weeks challenge which was HOBBIES and I had quite afew varied entries.

Create Own Background for MTTC

 Good Morning All

My Time To Craft Challenge this time is chosen by Becca with a theme of  

Make Your Own Background.

I often make my own as I like to use my scraps and this is one of them.

Strips of designer paper and coordinating card.

I used the same colour card as the mat, a lovely peppermint green.

I added a die cut sentiment and a Groovi flower and leaf.

It is very satisfying using some scraps, dont you agree??

Abit Grungy

 Good Morning All

I have gone abit grungy on these two cards.

Very similar as in the colours and stamps  used.

I inked on watercolour card with oxides  and water, left to dry then stamped randomly.

Added afew dew drops

Thoroughly enjoyed making this style too.

What do you think?

Happy Sunday Challenge

 Good Morning All

We went out for a meal on Friday as the shop was shut but I still did the challenge for the ladies.

This week I chose a them of HOBBIES as I had this image which I coloured with my Polychromos.

So, obviously, my chosen Hobby is knitting.

Last weeks challenge was a sketch.

I asked John to choose a winner and he had a hard time choosing between Eve and Dawn, eventually settling on Eves card, so she got the prize but I gave Dawn a runner up prize of a stencil.

Baby & Birthdays

 Good Morning All

Back to Baby cards today.

All using LOTV Toppers and the first two are using scraps and offcuts too which is always good, makes me feel good anyway.

The paper on this one, I made into the focal point as it was so nice.

The card is Phill Martins texture paste in a sparkly blue colour, put through a stencil.  I cannot tell you how long that has been in the drawer waiting to be used!!!!

No Craft Group today as the shop is closed and we are going out for a meal.  We have 3 birthdays in Feb.  Eves was last Friday and the two Vals was on Wednesday, yes St Valentines day.  And Val C was 80 years young so we are going to celebrate all three.

JND Trellis die

 Good Morning All

Happy St. Valentines Day.

I have two smaller cards to show you today, abit too small, 5x5, but they will go into one of the boxes I make for charity raffle prizes.

I have alot of dies and decided I really should start using them more.

This one is so pretty from John (JND), I love anything Trellis.

Its a small die, about 4" square, so great for this size of card blank.

The paper is from an LOTV pad.

The sentiment is a die cut too.

This one I'm not as keen on.  Paper was in my stash and I used a peeloff for the sentiment.

Both of these cards would fit my Craft Group challenge too, I put it on my Facebook page too Here.

Happy Sunday Challenge

 Good Morning All

I hope you are all having a good weekend.

The challenge I set the ladies on Friday was a sketch.

For my card I used a stencil with Oxides to generate the honeycomb design, added some gems in the corners.

A die cut sentiment in the centre.

Quite simple but effective I think.

The gifts I gave out were  Mint Penguin bars in various boxes I have made.

Cupids Arrow for MTTC

 Good Morning All

My Time To Craft Challenge is

Cupids Arrow

I made two cards as I wanted to use all the embossed card which is a CE Folder.  The topper is LOTV, same one on both cards.

This first one I made into an Anniversary card.

And this one I made into a Congratulation card, so it can be used for Wedding or engagement.

The Design Team are spread out around the world so why not pop over and visit them.
