LOTV

 Good Morning All

A quick card today featuring an LOTV topper of a cute bear with butterflies.  I remember, in my childhood, going off with a jam jar and a fishing net, trying to catch butterflies.

I had the branch already die cut and used the last of a roll of sticky backed ribbon (had for years).  Great satisfaction coming to the end of a stash item, accomplishment!!!

I added a vellum butterfly to tie in with the topper.

Oxides

 Good Morning All

Back to playing with inks and stamps today.

I inked all the backgrounds first then decided what to do with them.

This one I inked through  a leftover from die cutting an oval.

A beautiful sentiment in very fine script.

The honeycomb die is one I keep by my cutting machine and use any leftover pieces of card, so I always have some cut ready for use.

This one has a scrap piece of parchment added with words and a flower sticker from my Junk Journal stash.

I am really enjoying making this style of card, let me know what you think.

Happy Sunday Challenge

 Good Morning All

We did not meet for Craft on Friday as the shop was shut so we went for another meal instead.

As I have my card challenge set up weeks in advance I still drew a winner and set them a new challenge.

I decided on a sketch and used some of my parchment scrap to make the butterflies

I have decided to restart Moving Along With The Times challenge blog as Diane is still not feeling upto it.

Oxides, Stamping & Stenciling

 Good Morning All

A couple of cards today using inks, stamps and stencils.

One of my Junk Journal ladies gave me a JND magazine complete with the stamp, emboss folder and die so I was playing with the stamp for these two cards.

I used a selection on Oxides for the background, then a stencil on this 1st one and a text stamp.  Then I stamped the image and coloured with watered down oxide ink.

We Love to Create 

I love the colours of this one.  This sentiment is  so pretty, very fine.  Random stamps in the background.

 Good Morning All

Here are some more cards from the box that Nancy left.

She left a big crate of cards practically ready, all I have done is add sentiments or a butterfly or flower.

Aren't they beautiful.

I'm sure Nancy's' family will be glad to know they are going to help the charities too. 

Here is one from me too using a little parchlet plate.

Bright coloured card and I coloured the parchlet flowers to match.
