I am still making cards for the charity boxes and these two are using images from Kristie Art on Etsy, a Ukranian seller.

The background on this first one is from a while ago when I was playing with Pixie powders.

This one is a EF from Creative Expressions Mosaic Leaves.

I love these flowers digis from Kristie, they come in a set of 8 which I resized to a smaller size, and there is 75% off in her shop now too.

Crafty Friends & MAWTT Challenges

 Good Morning All

Both Crafty Friends Challenge and Moving Along With The Times Challenges fall on the 1st of the month

and this month they are the same theme, although Zoe at MAWTT said it could be Fathers Day.

So Crafty Friends theme is

Men / Boys

and MAWTT is

Masculine / Fathers Day

So I have combined the two and made this Groovi card featuring a picot cut car.

I stuck gems where the lights are as that is where I glued it on.

Added the embossed sentiment and afew embossed dots.

Happy Sunday Challenge

 Good Morning All

Well it was my Birthday on Friday and I had a wonderful day.

Craft club where I bought cake for everyone and then a night out with our good friends Helen & Paul.

I received lots of homemade cards too which will all be recycled at some point, so thanks to all.

 Good Morning All

We are on our way home today after a wonderful visit to Porto in Portugal.

This is the card I have made for my Mums birthday, although its not until November, I made this in a Zoom class.

It used the small alphabet plates I purchased from Clarity, a bargain too good to miss, all half price plus a free folder to store them all in.

Good Morning All 

No challenge today as we are still in Porto in Portugal.

As you know I love to crochet and most of it is given to charity.

Well next door to the Craft Shop in Quesada, there is a cafe and it is a collection point for a Helping Hands Charity. The lady helps families that have no income / no job and she helps the homeless too.  Now she is helping people that are coming over from The Ukraine.

So I give most of my things to her.

This cute Crochet dress was using the left over yarn from my cardigan I showed you on the 4th.

It's a very easy pattern to follow on You Tube by Marjovel.  She is Spanish but there are English versions.

Up and Away

 Good Morning All

We are off on our travels today to Portugal, so I have scheduled afew posts.  We are staying in Porto as we cant get a direct fight to the Algarve so it was either Porto or Lisbon and Porto looked more appealing.

Today card is another Groovi one without a sentiment until I need it.

A grid border with a Poppet image.  I just love doing this style and so pretty.

There will not be a post on Sunday as I will not be at  Craft on Friday, obviously, so last weeks challenge will run for 2 weeks.

Happy Sunday Challenge

 Good Morning All

Here is my Craft Club challenge which is running for two weeks as we are going to Portugal, to Porto. Believe it or not, we cannot get a direct flight to  The Algarve from Alicante so we decided to go there instead.

I am so looking forward to it as it looks very much like Seville, which was wonderful when we went afew years ago.

Anyway, back to the challenge which is a Bingo chart and here is my card.

The gifts I gave out were more choccy, which I need to get rid of before it gets way too hot here for chocolate!!

These are some bugs I bought in Aldi and of course, I had to make little boxes for them!

Crochet Cardigan

Good Morning All 

As you know I cant just sit here watching TV, 

I usually crochet and here is a cardi I have done.

It is quite a loose stitch and the yarn is very soft and  lovely peach and fawn colours.

The sleeves are a little long but they will do.  I have since undone the sleeve seam and made the sleeves shorter as they were annoying, so now it fits much better.

Birthday for MAWTT & Animals Birds for Crafty Friends & Challenge

 Good Morning All

Today is Moving Along With The Times Challenge and I am looking after this one and I chose the theme of

because it is my Birthday this month.

I made this card a while ago but loved it and I am keeping it for a crafty friend.

I used the Groovi  Henry Grid from Clarity and used one of their Poppets too backed onto sparkly gold card.

Crafty Friends  challenge Theme this month is 

Animals / Birds

I bought a couple of pop out decoupage sheets from the craft shop  as they were some lovely animal ones.

This Lioness is one of them.

I mounted onto embossed card coloured with Mica Magics.

I typed the sentiment out and added to yellow card to match the oval shape.

The gifts I gave out were these bags I bought at an auction.  I thought they were handy for taking stuff to Craft club to keep flat and clean.

I use mine alot. They are  great for A4 size papers.

I rolled each one and tied with a  pipe cleaner.
