Happy Sunday Challenge

 Good Morning All

At Craft club on Friday I used a Bingo chart for the challenge and I used Circle Pink Ribbon for my card.

It is a Groovi Circle Grid and one of Clarity Stamp Poppet images which I adore.

They have an inner circle you can snip so insert the circular image.

This is the chart to follow using 3 in a row.

The gifts I gave out were packets of Shortbreads I found in our Overseas store here in Spain which stocks alot of Tesco goodies.

Last weeks challenge was a sketch and I made a Wedding card for the box.

Groovi and more Groovi

 Good Morning All

I have been doing alot of Groovi card and here are afew. Some of these were made for classes but I need to clear some from my Photo files so here goes.

This first one is using one of Linda Williams Wrap plates but instead of making it into a wallet or wrap, I made a card with one part of it.

I coloured some of the roses and leaves and added some punched flowers and Groovi leaves.

This one is using a Grid plate and one of Clarity Poppet images.

I do love Grid work.

This next one is one of the Circle Grids and alot easier to work than the square ones, but still very enjoyable.  Again, I used a Poppet topper but left it without colour.

Ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons.

This is the Agapanthus plate and very beautiful it is too, very lightly coloured.

This one was made for an order.

I made the crib twice and picot cut it out. I did write baby on it but spelt it backwards so picot cut  the panel out and added Baby on the underneath piece of parchment.

The lady was very happy with it anyway.

Animals Ribbon from Crafty Ribbons

 Good Morning All

This first is one of the Easter cards I have made for the Grandkids.

I used  Grosgrain Animals Ribbon. from Craft Ribbons, and the sentiment ribbon of from there too.

The images are from a pad I bought at my local craft shop, Hunkydory Toppers.

This next card was made for Auroras Birthday which was on Tuesday using a different variety of the same ribbons.

The challenge card this week was a sketch and this is my card.

I had these small square images from a magazine, and as I dont have many Congratulation cards in the box I have been making afew in the last few weeks.

This is the sketch to follow

The gifts I gave out were Penguin choccy bars in these sweet boxes decorated with   belly band a butterfly.

Two more Congratulation Cards

 Good Morning All

For Crafty Ribbons     I have made two cards, very similar, both using a scrap of seam Binding.

There are lots of colours but if you only have one, choose cream or white as  it can be coloured with your alcohol markers or inks.

I have just tied a tiny piece at each end of my sentiment tab which matches the colours  have used on the image.  I matted the Groovi heart onto embossed card which I inked around the edge but you cant see it very well in this pic.

The sentiment is stamped using a set of Johns (JND)

Crafty Friends & MAWTT Challenges

 Good Morning All

Crafty Friends Challenge is back and Diane is refreshed and ready to go.

The theme his month is

Flowers

so a nice easy one.

I pulled out some of my really old stash and had a play.

The Pansy is  decoupaged and a very old page, Phill Martin paper, a die cut doily and the hexagon die cut is quite new.

The sentiment is really old and I think it was one of my first buys from Create and Craft.

There are some wonderful makes from my teamies so pop over and take a peep.

Now onto to Moving Along With The Times where the theme is Friends.

I keep my intricate Groovi cards for my Friends and family and this is one of them.  The grid is a new one called Marseille. And the vellum Sentiment is a really old one from when I first started crafting.

I shall be saving this card for a dear friend of mine.

 Good Morning All

I have found afew bits and bobs that need to be used and as I need to fill the boxes of cards that go to charities I am making quick cards.

I must have cut the decoupage out a long time ago as these two toppers were in the box waiting to be used.

I like the first one but not too sure about the second but I have found in the pat that very often when I dont like  a card, others do, so it went in the box.

The two pale strips on here are the reverse of the gingham paper, waste not want not.!!!

This backing is quite thin parchment or vellum but I was able to work a Groovi grid plate on it.  It is abit shiny gold on the front.  I did think the backing would match the Hugs blue but not to sure, but its made now and in the box.

Make afew small cards from a big one

 Good Morning All

Liz at the Craft Shop gave me a beautiful Heart plate for Christmas last year and it is about 8x8 so I worked it all and did abit of snipping.

I decided to make smaller cards with it instead of one big one (better in the charity box).

So here are afew that I made.

This one I kept four squares together.

And these two, I used just one of the squares

There are more like these two but didn't photo them all.

I often just add 'Congratulations' then they can be used as Wedding or Engagement cards. or even Anniversary.
