Fave Stamp for Allsorts

 Good Morning All

Allsorts Challenge time again and the theme this week is

To use your Favourite Stamp with an option of Paper Piecing.

This is a tribute to Kath, a member of our team who lost her  battle with illness afew weeks ago.

I dont stamp very much, I must admit but I do like this stamp a received from one of my team mates.

It is a Penny Black PB3602K Dotted Petals

It stamps well and I dont really have to colour it when used on a background like this.

But here, I used some Blue Stickles.

The background is Oxides and I added some Gingham ribbon from Crafty Ribbons

There are lots of prizes on offer so do have a go.

I was making afew cards for the charity box and this is one of them.

Used LOTV toppers and paper that has been in my stash for eons!!!

I think it is from Docrafts.

I added an offcut scrap along the side and some punched parchment flowers.

Quite a quick card.

Fashion Sense for River of Creativity & Happy Sunday Challenge

 Good Morning All

A combined post today as it is the 5th of the month so that means it is time for the River of Creativity Challenge with a theme of

Fashion Sense

I will admit that I was abit stumped as to what to do for this one. but as usual, I delved into my LOTV topper box and came up with this sweet image.

The backing paper is from a pad I bought in Primark.

I added one of my sentiments with organza ribbon and added a Hat charm.

I used this card for my Craft Club challenge too and made it a theme of

Pink & Blue

Anything can be used as long as the main colours are Pink and Blue.

The gifts I gave out were these yummy packs of biscuits I found in the local supermarket.

Individually wrapped so perfect for putting in boxes.

I added a dangle charm to the ribbon so the ladies can use it in their work.

AG for Allsorts

 Good Morning All

The theme for Allsorts Challenge this week is 

Anything Goes with an option of

Love of Life

We have the lovely Ruth Hamilton sponsoring us again so I have used her digi called Hollyhocks from her Summer Flowers Collection.

I coloured with Promarkers and mounted onto a hexagon die cut using a Tonic die.

I think it fits with the option of Love of Life to as there is nothing nicer than live flowers.

In memory of Kath: Next weeks challenge would have been hosted by Kath and in her usual organised fashion she had selected her theme months ago. We are still having that theme but with a slight amendment to celebrate her style of crafting with some special prizes. So we hope lots of you will join us on 11th September for 'A Challenge for Kath'.

Under The Sea for MAWTT

 Good Morning All

Moving Along With The Times Challenge this month is

Under The Sea

chosen by Zoe.

I made a Notebook for Hollie, which I will give to her next time I see her, whenever that may be!!

I laminated the cover and added some lovely silk ribbon for closure.

I added 2 charms to the ribbon, the hearts says Love and the other Believe.

This is an envelope with another image of a Mermaid on it and I shall probably put some money in there.

I also added a couple of pages from a story book with some nice pictures in it.

I will get her into Junk Journalling !!!

I got the Mermaid papers from Janeybjournals as part of her Facebook Group.

which I always find quite hard but then enjoy when I do it.

I  used a CE Emboss folder with Butterflies, added 3 of my homemade vellum butterflies and a stamped sentiment, simples!!!

This week my challenge for the Craft Club ladies is

A Card for a Child.

I pulled out a sheet of LOTV toppers and made two cards, very similar but one is for a design team project so will be posted at another time.

The toppers were perfectly matched to this Pirate ribbon from Crafty Ribbons.

I think the paper is from LOTV too

This will run for 2 weeks as we are back in UK for a family funeral.

Travel for Crafty Ribbons

 Good Morning All

Crafty Ribbons are having a Showcase Week and I am the last post so quickly pop over to their Facebook page and leave a comment on the original post to be in with a chance of winning a ribbon bundle.  The draw will be done at 3pm UK time today.

I made a TN - Travellers Notebook.

I used this wonderful Grosgrain ribbon with images of skylines / famous buildings on it.

I used it to make the closure or wrap around.

There is a notebook inside and 2 pockets

This would be great for taking on a holiday to write memories and notes and receipts etc.

This fold out on the side is made from an A5 envelope and cut one end open to make a pocket.

I think I may give this as a raffle prize at my Junk Journal class.u

Quick posts from me this week and maybe none over the next couple of weeks due to a death in the family and we are having to return to UK so booking flights and tests and trying to sort lots of stuff out.

Although we did not meet as the shop is shut, the ladies still wanted to do a challenge.

A simple Mans card  using a topper from Lily of the Valley and paper from them too.

Using these toppers is a very easy way to make a nice Man card.

New items in Etsy

 Good Morning All

I have added two items to my Etsy shop HERE

I wanted to make a Christmas Folio for someone to makes lists in and provide tags for their Christmas gifts so I made a test one first using some gorgeous Owl papers from JaneyBjournals

I have used these papers before to make a lovely Lapbook on a video here, this has now been sold.
