Masculine for Allsorts

 Good Morning All

We have a

Masculine

theme for Allsorts challenge this week-So, of course, I dipped into my LOTV toppers, they always come to the rescue!!

I used a full piece of paper from an LOTV pad too, all matted and layered onto maroon card.

Our Sponsor is offering a 15GBP voucher for a randomly chosen winner.

Groovi Tree

 Good Morning All

I told you last week that we went to visit Fox & Wolf at their house for an afternoon of delight.

Smelling their beautiful fragrances that they make into candles and wax melts and reed diffusers.

I did buy afew  but shhhhhh.

Anyway, I decided to take a card with me as a thank you and this is the one I gave them.

It is a new Groovi plate I bought in the sale and mounted it on Clarity designer paper and a 

'Just Because' tag.

Sun Sea Sand for Allsorts

 Good Morning All

Allsorts Challenge this week is hosted by Lynn with a theme of

I delved into my Topper box and found a cute poppets one which we used at Craft Club last week.

These and LOTV are great fallbacks for themes when I cant think of anything.

I found this lovely Seahorse charm in my stash and the Ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons (link in sidebar)

Cool It Down for MAWTT

 Good Morning All

Moving Along With The Times Challenge.

 have a theme of

Cool It Down

Tinz means anything from Snow, Ice, Water, anything to cool down.

I found this topper in my box where the cat is looking longingly at the fish in the pond, if she jumps in that will deffo cool her down!!

I embossed Kraft card with CE leaves folder and all matted onto blue card.

I think there will be a big variation of entries for this theme so it will be very interesting how people interpret it.

Simply Groovi and a Visit

 Good Morning All

This card was very quick to make with the Groovi System, no intricate grid work.

Just working with 3 plates and colouring with Felt tip water colour pens.

I dont mind this one going in the charity box, as you know, I keep the more intricate ones for Friends and Family.

This afternoon I am going with some friends to Catral.  There are two guys who make and sell candles and wax melts for burners - Fox & Wolf.

I have been before and so wanted to go back again.  Scott talks us through all the fragrances then shows us where they are made and then we go through to the packaging room where we can buy if we wish, but there is no pressure.

I first saw them on Facebook and they were advertising a free afternoon with Cava reception and choccy dipped strawberries.  So I asked afew of my Craft Club ladies and off we went.

I bought a burner and a pack of melts.   I have used 3 or 4 tealight candles and still only used 2 melts on the burner, amazing.  And the smell is delightful.

I ordered an electric burner online which I will collect today, so this acts as a lamp aswell as burning the melts too.

I also want to buy a diffuser for the loo downstairs.

They are not the cheapest but boy oh boy are they good.

Visit the website as I did and see if there are any offers on.  They do post out and sell in different outlets

both in Spain and UK and Netherlands I think.

Happy Sunday Challenge

The challenge I set the ladies at Craft Club on Friday was a sketch.

The gifts I gave out this week were a useful one instead of some yummy chocolate!!

Mini glue bottle and I made a stick pin embellishment for each one with lots of beads and dangles.

Use Designer Paper for Allsorts

I used some Digital Designer Paper from JaneyBJournals and I made some Hidden Paperclips.  

I have decorated both sides as they will both be visible on either side of the page.

I made these for a swap back in May and loved making them

Yellow Orange Red for Crafty Ribbons

 Good Morning All

It is a late post from me as I have to fall in with Crafty Ribbons schedule as it is Crafty Ribbons Showcase week and we are showing bright coloured ribbon

I made two cards for this as I loved them all.

This is the Strawberry Shortcake ribbon which I stuck onto a square piece of card then covered the edges with a frame cut using Creative Expressions Pierced squares.

And I used Country Check gingham for the sentiment plate.

It is all matted onto red card

For this card I just used the gingham.

I found these large brads in my stash (I dont know where they came from) and I thought they were perfect for threading ribbon through.

I used pearlised card embossed with Creative Expressions butterflies folder

Notebook & Pouch

 Good Morning All

As you know I have a box in the local Craft shop which contains cards and goodies I make in order to try and raise funds for the Animal Rescue centre where we got Rico from.

Here is a Notebook about 4x4 with a pouch to hold it.

They seem to be going quite well and I have raised over 100 euros.

If anyone is interested in buying one of my Junk Journals or Folios, here is my Etsy shop.

As I am a newbie at this, mine a very cheap compared to some. I am amazed at what some people sell at but I do know they put alot of time in to make them.

Happy Sunday Challenge

 Good Morning All

My challenge for the Craft Club ladies was to use an image I gave them from Crafters Companion from their Poppets collection.

They are so cute and I'm sure the ladies will enjoy.
