Pets for Allsorts

Good Morning All

The theme for Allsorts Challenge this week is

Pets

I went with this stamp of an Alsatian Flonz Craft .

I stamped it with Izinks, then used a load of scraps of similar coloured paper and card to make the backing. 

Both cards are very similar but I made two to help fill my Man birthday card box.

We are not offering physical prizes during this time of lockdown so playing just for fun.

A Couple of Daub and Doodle

Good Morning All

A couple more of my watercolour daub and doodle cards.

The corners are JND and ribbon from Crafty Ribbons.

As we  entered phase 3 on Monday in our Province,  my Craft Club is back to Fridays now.We still have to wear masks when we are out but more freedom now.

Slowly getting back to normal.

John and I went our for a drink and a meal last week, our first since 13th March.

Yummy for Crafty Ribbons

Good Morning All

It is my turn to post for Crafty Ribbons.

I have made two cards for this using some yummy Cake Grosgrain ribbon and Keep Calm Ribbon, both available in store HERE.

I used the same toppers from LOTV but in different sizes.

I added the sentiment tag with Seam binding which I adore and comes in loads of different colours.

Even if you can't find the colour you want, it is so easy to colour with alcohol pen, which I have done before.

This one, if you dont have the seam binding in the  correct colour to match your card, just ink it.

I used  a Tim Holts Distress pad to colour this yellow one to match.

Happy with these two and they will go in my box for charities.

Happy Sunday & Challenge

Good Morning All

This is the sketch for my Challenge this week, for my Craft Club and for anyone else who would like to join in.

My card which I sent to my eldest son for his birthday on Wednesday this next week.

Before lockdown I had quite afew bags of gifts ready for my Craft Club ladies.

But when John and I got the munchies on us we would go upstairs and raid my stash!!!

Consequently, the ladies had a mixture today of Mcvities Gold bars and Rocky bars.

I made these lovely faceted boxes for the Rocky bars

These boxes are like a pill box but with angled sides, all tied with Organza ribbon and a dangle charm added.

I think these are very pretty.

Onto last weeks challenge which was to make a Christmas card with at least 2 squares on it.

My card was my Guest DT for Penny Black last Sunday.

Embossing for Allsorts

Good Morning All

Allsorts Challenge this week is

 Embossing wet or dry

I saw this design on Pinterest and thought it was good as it show more of the embossing .

I cut 3 pierced squares, heat embossed one with a sentiment and stuck 2 scraps of paper on the other 2.

Added a small piece of dotty ribbon from Crafty Ribbons and some dotty candy dots to match the ribbon and the paper.

We are just playing for fun for this challenge.

JND Harlequin Die & Crochet top

Good Morning All

I have literally just had a play with Johns new Harlequin die set and I love them.

This was a very quick card as I wanted to get it blogged.

I already had the blossom flowers cut as I borrowed this die from my Crafty Friend Val J.

I cut one in white, one in silver and the bottom one in a multi inked background then backed all onto pink paper.

I cut the frame in pink card too.

Here is another cotton crochet top I have made for myself, the same pattern as the one I made for Tess.

Very happy with this too.

Bits and Bobs

Good Morning All

This is my first post using the new Blogger.

These are two cards I made just playing and using bits up on my desk.

I used up some smaller pieces of card and paper to make the backgrounds.

A large flower on this one made with my Groovi plate and die set.

A decoupages flower bouquet on this one I bought from Create and Craft Years ago.

Two more for the charity box.

Fave Stamps for Penny Black & Happy Sunday

Good Morning All

As you may know, being on the DT for Allsorts we have the opportunity to guess on the Penny Black at Allsorts Blog too.

This time the theme is

Favourite stamp

Well now, thanks to my lovely team leader, Brenda and team mate Helene, who both sent me some PB stamps to play with, I now have a fave and that is the famously Penny Black hedgehogs.

 This is PB3828H called Guess?

I coloured with Polychromos and mounted them onto  Fleur de Lis Squares from Spellbinders.

Sentiment ribbon from Crafty Ribbons.

And a tiny red bow with a star.

We were able to resume my Craft Club yesterday, as upto 15 people may meet up to socialise now. Liz and Paul asked me to do it on Saturday while the craft shop was closed, as with customers in it may take the numbers over the specified limit, all fine by me, we were just glad to get together again.

I resumed the raffle and gifts again too so here are the gift boxes I gave to them all which were for Easter as they held 2 mini Cadbury eggs and 2 stick pins.

Now back to last weeks challenge which was a sketch.

Anything Goes for Crafty Friends

Good Morning All

Crafty Friends Challenge time again and this time it is

I chose this cute pre-coloured digi from Toadstool Printables

I found a cute charm of a toadstool and thought it would work well.

I sent this card to a friend in the UK when the Corona Virus was going on, hopefully, to help cheer her up, as I did to Mums and sisters too.
