I made it into a New Home card, all bright colours.

Fantasy for Craft Rocket

Good Morning All

Craft Rocket Challenge this month is 

FANTASY

I decided to Make Hollies Birthday Card, which is not until July but I like to be well prepared!!!

I used an LOTV Topper from a load I bought along with my craft friend Val.

Everything else is from stash.

They are coming for a visit at end of June, cant wait.  It will be Tess's first visit here and it will be hot, I hope they can manage, may have to get extra fans for bedrooms.

Flying off tomorrow to Mums but all posts are scheduled so you dont get away from me !!!!  LOL

And I get to see ALL the family as we are driving down to Corby.

Tiny Matchboxes

Good Morning All

When we have the Craft Club on Fridays, I always host a Raffle and give a little prize, just abit of fun really but the ladies seem to enjoy it.

I made these tiny matchboxes, they are about 2.5" but so cute.

I filled them with the butterflies I make too.

 I decorate with all scraps from my box really.

I hope the winner likes them anyway, I love making bits like these.

I swapped again on a FB group - it was for a Friensdship Umbrella which I had not heard of but after abit of research it was great fun.
I posted off  to my swap partner and I received hers yesterday.

Extra bits and bobs too.









Then this is the one I made for her.

This is a mini one I made for her too.

I included lots of extras like stick pins and fabric flowers.
She was very pleased with it.

I am going on another coach trip today with my two crafty Friends, the two Vals.
We are going to Mazaron, about an hour and a half south from us , we are hoping to get on a boat trip around the port.
I,ll let you know what it's like.

I commented on her gorgeous card on behalf of MAWTT DT and she emailed me and said she would love to post the 'Owl' card to Hollie along with some crafting papers.

I made this box a while ago using some pieces I received in a swap.

It is now on the shelf for sale in the local bar.

People like them for putting a watch in, as the bar also  sells jewelry.

All sales help to pay postage for Post Pals (link & info  in sidebar) as I shall be taking some more cards back to UK with me when I go back to Mums in afew days.
I posted about 25 last time and will probably have the same amount again as the ladies at my craft club have been busy again.

Embossing for Allsorts

Good Morning All

Allsorts challenge time again and the theme is Embossing, Wet or Dry.

I cut Sue Wilson Magical Butterflies from  card and acetate done with Pixie Powders, then cut the top part of the butterfly from black card and double heat embossed with Holographic emboss powder.
I mounted these onto S/B scalloped Ovals.
Then onto white embossed card which I just could not get to photograph at all.

I lifted the wing on this one to show the pixie powdered acetate underneath.

I Spy for Allsorts

Good Morning All

Brenda chose the theme for the challenge at Allsorts and it is

Again, I used LOTV Topper of a Brown dog, added Brown Butterflies

If my printing is a bit off line and I cant get the sentiment on the inside in the centre, I add something, I wont throw it away!!!!

So here I added more of the tiny brown butterflies.

Good Morning All

I made abit of a boobie yesterday, I posted the same card as Wednesday.

Dont know how it happened must have been a senior moment!!!!

I made these two cards yesterday.  

It's very seldom I make shaped cards but I saw this when I was browsing around Pinterest and thought I would have a go.
I got the two from a piece of A4 Hammered card.

I hot glued and gathered the ecru trim.

Do they need any more on?

I have put 'Congratulations'  inside.

Looking forward to my craft club today, although Lyn and a couple of others not there but the two Vals will be so time for a catch up.

Good Morning All

Wow, did anyone watch John Lockwood's show on Hochanda last night?
I watched online as my John was watching Leicester and Athletico, I was willing Leicester on, how I would have loved them to win.
What an amazing product that Glitter Kiss is.
I love my Gilding Polish but I think I may love this Kiss more!!!!

Looks OK I think, would do for a man too.

Went back to Dr's yesterday just to make sure ear infection has cleared as I'm still experiencing ringing and some deafness.  All OK but he gave me more decongestant medicine even though my cough has gone and I dont feel that my nose is blocked, he said it is congestioon in my head!!!

LOTV Topper and scraps

Good Morning All

I bought a load of LOTV toppers a while ago and this is one of them.

In fact, I bought that many, as did my crafty mate Val (you know who you are !!!!) we probably wont EVER have to buy anymore!!!!!

All the flowers have been in my scrap box as has the pixie powder background.

Hope you are all having a nice Easter weekend and a good break from work for some of you.

John took me out for lunch yesterday which was lovely, 

We had a roast beef Sunday lunch which was yummy, we dont have one very often.

Well we had our first BBQ of the year last night, just John and I.  It was lovely and warm and sat outside until about 9pm with Un Poco Vino !!!!
