Sparkle for Crafty Friends

Good Morning All

Crafty Friends Challenge  this time is Sparkle or Glitter, lots of it.

The image is from our sponsor 'Miran' called Hello Snowman.

I coloured it with Promarkers and cut out with S/B Decorative Labels 22.

Added a Christmas tree cut using CE Festive Collection.

All mounted onto green Glitter card and I added sparkle to Snowmans hat and scarf.

Then to embellish it I added a stick pin and a bead dangler.

Two bows in different ribbon.

When I cut a big square of good card I  always cut the centre out, (as it is hidden anyway) and I have used it here on the inside.

Tag Swap Gift

Good Morning All

I wanted to show you the Tag Swap I received.

I showed you on Tuesday HERE the ones I made for the swap on Facebook, and this is mine from a lady called Karen.

The box is about 3" x 5" and had tiny metal feet on each corner, so gorgeous.

More than 6 tags and this little one had bells on that ring !!!

So Cute.

Loads of extras - Flowers and Embellishments.

Then these two gorgeous handmade fabric flowers.

And, finally, a card.

I,m really enjoying this swap group.

I was taking some friends to the airport last evening and I wish I could have got to my phone to take a pic, the moon was amazing, so large and so red.

I will watch out for it tonight if I can to take some pics.

Another Stick Pin book

Good Morning All

Here is another Stick Pin Fabric Book I made for the fayre last week.

I found  this gorgeous (sort of runner) in the charity shop for 2 euros for two.

I thought it was so pretty and edged with some lovely lace.

So I cut one from it. I have enough left to make afew more fabric books.

The pattern is ribbon threaded through the fabric to make the lovely flowers and leaves.

I added a piece of felt for the centre pages.

all edged with pink and white lace.

I added abit more lace across the middle.

Stick Pins added.

This is the other side of the felt page.

And this is the finished book with ribbon to tie closed.

I love making these, so satisfying for some reason.

Bag of Tags

Good Morning All

I told you a while ago that I had joined a group on Facebook, well this is one of the swaps I made.

A Bag of Tags.

My swap partner has  received it and loved, thank goodness!!!!

The swap was to make a bag or a box and include 6 tags in it.

I made loads of these tags to sell at the Fayre.

I love making them.

And this was a special one I made as an extra.

Pixie Powders

Good Morning All

On my way home today, lovely visit with my Mum, sisters and kids.

I matted white card, embossed with CE fanfare folder onto card coloured with Gilding Polish.

All the black card is coloured using Pixie Powders.

CE Petite Peony Cluster die.

CE Pierced Flag for sentiment.

CE Sue Wilson New Zealand 'Wellington'

Gems for flower centres.

I brushed over the embossed card with Enchanted Gold Gilding Polish, you can see the sheen on this picture.

Christmas Lights for Allsorts

Good Morning All

I love my LOTV toppers which I dont think they do anymore, such a shame.

I love how this card turned out.

Christmas Scenes for MAWTT

Good Morning All

The theme this time at Moving Along With The Times  has been chosen by Jan.

I went for my ever faithful LOTV toppers.

What  can be more Christmassy than Turkey, Pud and hats?

I matted it onto some 12 x 12 paper from my stash and a silver  doily.

The sentiment is a freebie from Netty HERE

I used some of the same paper to decorate the inside.

Pretty Pink Peonies

Good Morning All

Nice to be in UK but it is COLD.

Very happy with this one.

I have had the peonies stamped for ages so sat down on Friday morning and die cut them all out, there was two A4 sheets of them.  Then took them to craft meet and painted them, then when I got home I stuck them together, so got quite afew now to adorn my cards.

I had to twiggle the pearl string, they looked like they were in a circle in the first pic.

Gills Christmas card NOT

Good Morning All

This card is one I made for Mum to give to my sister, but when I came to pack my case the other day, I couldn't find it, so I must have taken it to the fayre and sold it!!!!

So flippin' annoyed about it.

So I  had to make another!!!

I used an assortment of Pixie Powders for the background, 

I think it was Gold, Firework Burst and Aqua Lagoon
