Good Morning All

These are  my cards for the club challenge this week.
I saw this idea on Pinterest, various circles stuck on card , then embossed the card.
Very easy and quite effective I think.

I gave them each a little Glassine bag I had made and inside I added a selection of Circles punched from odd scraps of card.

More Get Well

Good Morning All

As Allsorts Challenge is still on a  two weekly schedule I thought I would show you some more Groovi!!!!!

A couple  of Get Well Cards to replenish my stock.

This one is  a homemade background and a couple of butterflies added as toppers.

I love this Groovi plate, very easy to use and great for adding butterflies.

I added a dragonfly to this one.

Practising my borders too.

Both on homemade backgrounds too, really enjoying making these with different techniques.

Add Texture for MAWTT

Good Morning All

Moving Along With The Times Challenge this time is hosted by  Hazel.

She wants to see Texture on your creations.

I added a Hessian backing onto my card.

I used the threads I pulled off the side to tie the charm and the tag.

I used a Football Decoupage image.

The charm say 'Just For You'

New Home Card

Good Morning All

Our friends, Andrew and Amanda moved into a new apartment a couple of week ago and they had a 

House Warming party on Sunday.

This is the card I made for them.

A sweet LOTV topper all matted onto burgundy card with LOTV paper too

Heart ribbon from Crafty Ribbons and a key charm added with twine and one of my dangle charms added to make a length of ribbon look like a bow.

I also made these Wine Bottle Jackets to go on their gifts, to make them a bit more special.
One of my ladies at Craft Cub brought the template for these into club afew years ago, so I fished it out and I already had some glitter foam in my stash.
Now dont be jealous when I tell you how much I spent on the gifts -----
Pink Cava -- 2.49 euro
Rioja -- 3.49 euro
This is why it kills me when I go to UK how  much I have to spend on a bottle of wine.
My fave here,  is a semi sweet white and costs 1.99 euro here.

Good Morning All

My card for the sketch below.
I used a Pixie Powder background I made with acetate and kitchen roll and glitter.
The Christmas tree is a Penny Black stamp
I have not added the sentiment yet as I haven't got all my Christmas stuff out yet.
Isn't the Gingerbread man charm cute?
All matted onto Silver mirri card.

This is the Sketch but take no notice of the Sentiment, I could not cross it out in my editing.

Craft Club gifts this week were just just a little tiny box with a Tealight candle inside, scented, of course.
And I did add a couple of homemade embellishments.

Boys to Men for Allsorts

Good Morning All

Allsorts Challenge time again and the theme is 

Boys to Men.

When I made this card the World Cup was on TV and my John is an avid footy fan so I shut myself in my craft room and got way ahead with all my DT work.

I had 3 to make for the same theme for different challenges, so I got a decoupage sheet  out  - footy themed.

The backing paper is a Capsule collection I bought half price when I was in UK in June.

Homemade sentiment tag tied with string.

Sponsor is Marianne Designs

and they are giving two wonderful dies.

This is what I have to put up with when I am sat at my desk, I daren't move LOL.

He follows me around wherever I go, toilet included.!!!!!

Get Well

Good Morning All

I have given so many cards to charities in the last couple of weeks that I need to restock my boxes.

I have been making quite afew Get Well Cards and here are a couple.

This is one of the tissue paper backgrounds I made, I thought it toned well with the colours I chose for the parchment.The Get Well and flowers is a narrow panel.
Then I added a butterfly, dragonfly and flower to the remaining part of the background.

This is from another plate and mounted onto plain green card.

I made the corners from the scalloped circle plate.

Junk Journal

Good morning all

My laptop is back from the hospital and all Ok touch wood.

Now this truly is a JUNK Journal, made from lots of stuff I no longer wanted  to keep or use for any other projects.  This is the front cover

And here are a few of the inside pages.

I made 3 signature, lots of tags and tuck spots from scraps of paper and card.

This lovely page below is using a bag I get at the vets when I buy Rico,s dog chews.

It has a pretty harvest scene on it, far too nice to bin.

I used pages from the book that I had pulled out to make the journal, to make tuck spots.  All the non patterned pages are coffee dyed and other pages are freebies from magazines.

My friend Val is taking this to her daughters shop to try and sell it, raise some funds for charity.

No Allsorts

Good Morning All

Allsorts challenge  is still on fortnightly  for the summer, so I will show you another Groovi card I finished this week.  I cut out some of the flowers to mount on top.

I had a couple of new ladies join us at Craft Club the week before last and they played with my Groovi stuff.  Well, I had a message through my Facebook page from one of them, as she had gone back to UK for a few weeks, and she has ordered the starter kit and a few plates,  so another convert.
I must admit, I was dubious about buying Groovi because as I have done original parchment in the past and enjoyed it, never excelled at it, but enjoyed it, so I felt I was  cheating by going Groovi, but I love it.  You can mix and match do many of the plates to create sone truly unique cards.

My laptop is in the hospital as it was getting very hot and cutting out and going very slow.  Hope to  have it back this morning.
I don't like doing my posts on this tablet  as I can't  do all the things  I normally do.
Fingers crossed it will be ready .

Lovely wooden buttons freebie again with a magazine.

I decorated the inside with some leftover paper.

Anything Goes for Craft Rocket

Good Morning All

Craft Rocket Challenge this month is a nice and easy Anything Goes.

As you know, I love my Groovi and I am particularly happy with how this one turned out.

Love the grid work on the edges.
I am trying to get to grips with more delicate grid work and bord
ers.

Craftyhazelnuts Challenge

Good Morning All

Craftyhazelnut patterned paper challenge starts today.

An easy challenge, all you have to do is use patterned paper.

I used some pieces form LOTV paper pad 'Father Knows Best'

It is a 8x8 pad and these are the pieces left over from another project.

I matted each piece onto different coloured card.
Added a sweet decoupage topper.
Homemade sentiment with seam binding from Crafty Ribbons.
And finally afew gems.
