Happy Sunday Challenge & Winners of previous challenges

 Good Morning All

Well I am back into the swing of things and it was good to get back to craft on Friday and see the ladies.

I did the draws for all the challenges while I was away and they are posted below after this weeks challenge.

This weeks sketch as it's coming upto Valentines Day soon.

The third challenge  (20th Jan) was to Recycle, Re purpose or Re-use.

I recycled A5 envelopes into Notebooks.

And I Re-used one of Johns Birthday cards to make another card for the charity box.

Dawn recycled  pate tin into a lovely storage tin.

Denise made three card using others cast off bits.

Maggie covered a Wine Box with Material  to make a storage box.

Eve made a lovey folio from envelopes.

Claire made two cards by re-using other cards.

And the name drawn was  EVE

Then last weeks challenge was a Tic Tac To chart.

I used Heart Gems and Green using one of my favourite Groovi plates.

New Challenges

 Good Morning All

First Challenge is for Crafty Friends and the theme is

I made a 40th Anniversary card for one of my Craft Club ladies.

The 40 is actually buffed Mirri card, although it doesn't show up very well on the pic.

A lovely heart charm tied to the sentiment.

LOTV topper.

Now on to Moving Along with The Times Challenge.

The theme is

Numbers.

 I used a Groovi Numbers plate, number 7 for one of my grandaughters.

Happy Sunday challenge

 Good Morning All

The gifts I left with Eve for Craft Club was a bag of odds, gifts that have been left over from previous weeks so no pics of thse.

The challenge I left them for Fridays Craft Club is a Bingo (Tic Tac To) chart

I went with  Heart - Gems - Green and used one of my favourite Groovi plates.

We should be back home when this goes live.

Happy Sunday Challenge

 Good Morning All

The Challenge this week is an interesting one

Recycle or Re-use or Re-purpose.

I made these Notebooks back in December for a You Tube Video.

They are made from an envelope I get each month with my Groovi Club plate in.  It's roughly  9 x 6 inch and I fold in half, cover with pretty papers and add pages.

These are the first two I made then my filming went wrong!!.

This is the third one I made and is featured in the video.

I also re-used a card from Johns Birthday last year.

I do this with most cards, especially hand made ones.

The gifts I left for Eve for Craft Club......

Emery boards which we all need in our handbag and I thought these were rather pretty in rainbow colours.  I made a sleeve for them too and decorated with images form Happiness in Crafting on Etsy.

Happy Sunday Challenge

 Good Morning All

My next few posts are all scheduled as we are away for the rest of January.

  I have left everything with Eve for Craft club on each Friday and this is the first challenge card.  All the challenges will run along side each other and winners will be chosen on my return.

So my Sunday posts are all scheduled with a new challenge in each one.  So this week is a sketch.

The papers are from an LOTV pad and the image is a digi from Kristie Art Designs on Etsy

Kraft

 Good Morning All

There will be a shortage of post over the next few weeks as we are off on our jollies tomorrow with little internet access.

I have scheduled my Sunday challenges  for the Craft Club ladies.

I made this card afew weeks ago for the MAWTT challenge and didn't post it, it is made with a Kraft card blank I bought while I was in the UK in December and their challenge is to use Kraft card this month.

I was playing with my Heat Emboss powders and this is a sentiment I stamped.  I just matted it onto dulled Mirri card and added a die cut that was on my desk.

Happy Sunday Challenge

 Good Morning All

Even though my Craft Club is not meeting this week, the ladies do still like to do a challenge card.

So I did a sketch for them and this is my card.

I made the background by spraying with Prism sprays I had  bought at my local craft shop.  I used black and yellow.

Then I heat embossed the sentiment onto black card and matted onto a piece of hessian. Then added a small piece of Washi tape at the bottom and some gems in the top corner.

Gone Fishing

 Good Morning All

A man card from me today, alot easier when I use the Groovi system.  I coloured a little bit just to make the man and the boat stand out.

I created the background using messy ink sprays

There is no craft club today as it is a Red day here for 3 Kings which is a big holiday in Spain, as big as Christmas day for us  I think.

So all the shops are closed and this means I wont see my ladies until the end of January as John and I depart on our holidays next Thursday for 2 weeks.

I shall be scheduling my posts but not my You Tube.

Tunisian Crochet

 Good Morning All

Well I hope you all had a good new Year.  A quiet one for us, infact a usual Saturday with John in the kitchen.

I start the new year with a nice thick Crochet pram blanket for the charity.

It is crochet but Tunisian Crochet which is like knitting bit only using one needle.  To be honest, I did not enjoy making this, I wanted to try this style but wont be doing it again.

Crafty Friends & MAWTT Challenges

 Good Morning All

Welcome to the New Year of Challenges with Crafty Friends and Moving Along With The Times.

I will kick off with Crafty Friends with a theme of

For me that means Baby cards and I have made two, one for a Boy and one for a Girl.

For this one I stenciled the background and added an LOTV topper cut with an Oval die from CE.

Again this is a topper from LOTV matted onto some lovely pink embossed card my friend gave me.

The sentiment banner I have had for years.

Now onto Moving Along With The Times Challenge where the theme is

Use Kraft Card

 I made this card using a Stencil from Clarity stamp.

I didn't ink it I used a fine liner pen then I coloured using Nova Metallic  Markers.  Then I heat embossed the circle sentiment.
