Doodle Bookmarks

 Hi Everyone

I've decided to blog midweek again but instead of a card I will will be showing anything but a card.  It maybe, like today, a crafty item I have made or it maybe photos of where I live or where  we are on holiday or something else.  We will have to see.

Anyway, today it is Bookmarks I have made, three infact.

I started with a page from a water colour paper pad.  Cut it into bookmark size, about 8 x 3 inch.  I used my new Watercolour paints on the top have just to add some colour to stamp on.

I used my new stamps from AALL & Create, they had a sale on so I went abit mad and bought afew, had them delivered to my sisters in UK and collect them last week.  I will use some of them for raffle prizes in my Junk Journal Group.

Then I painted something that may look like flowers (I am definately no artist but enjoy the process) so dont laugh at my efforts!!!!

Then I laminated them, I did round the corners too as laminted plastic can be quite sharp.

And added a tassle (homemade) and a dangle charm to each one.

I shall include one in each Journal I either sell or donate..

Selling is now a problem as Spain is not posting to  USA due to Trumps Duties and I did sell mostly to USA, so annoying.  But saying that, a lady in the UK bought one and she was charged some sort of tax on it too.

Honest opinions please.

Sundays roll around so fast.

I got back from UK on Thursday night so I was able to go to Craft Group on Friday.

Here is the challenge I gave them for this week.

The Quote is a Sticker and I dont know where they came from but deciced to get them used, they were from an A4 sheet, about 8 of them.

MAWTT

 Hi Everyone

Todays post is Moving Along With The Times Challenge.

I have remained on the Design Team but passed over to Helen the running of the blog.  She has recruited afew new members to the team too which oe really good.

The theme for the month of October is

Sentiments

This one is done with the Groovi system, very easy but very effective.

I coloured the balloons only on the back and matted on Clarity designer paper then gold mirri card.

I made another 2 using a Clarity stencil wreath and drawing it with a fine liner pen then colouring the leaves and adding a die cut sentiment in the middle.

I'm in UK for a surprise party today.

My card is the challenge card as  I left Eve in charge of group on Friday.

The theme is PINK

A pretty card and it looks like a Hunkydory topper although I dont know where it came from, I think I aquired it in some clear out stash.

 Hi Everyone

I'm back, not with a vengeance, but I'm back to making YT videos and blogging.

I may just start by posting once a week and trying to enter more challenges too.

This week we were back at my Craft Group on Friday, first one for afew months although it feels longer.

I still set them a card challenge as most of them seem to enjoy them.

This weeks was a sketch.

My card using a cute puppy dog topper and LOTV papers.

I have still been crafting through the Summer but not too much in my craft room as it has been so hot in there.

But we had the windows cleaned on Friday so that made me have a good clean our and tidy up.  The main thing was to try to create more space on my desk to actually craft, my space seems to get smaller and smaller as time goes on so I am determined to try to be more tidy and put things away as I finish using them.!!!

A Clear Element for MTTC

My Time To Craft Challenge this time is to use 

A Clear Element

like acetate or gems.

I used clear dew drops on this card.

I enjoy making this style of card.

Oxide inks blended and a silhouette stamp from AAL&Create  #661 which I won on an Allsorts challenge and love it.

Hi Everyone

I have decided to step away from blogging and You Tube for a while, at least through the Summer.

My mojo has gone and my heart isn't in it anymore.  It has become a trial for me to make videos and create posts.

Maybe it's the heat, I dont know.  But what I do know is that if I am not enjoying it, there is no point in forcing myself to create content if I'm not enjoying it.

I am not doing a great deal of crafting other than crochet, doodling and glueing.

I will carry on with my Instagram, Facebook page.

So, I'm not sure if I shall release my DT posts or delete them.

Thanks for being with me and I may be back, lets just wait and see how things go.

Use Fibre for MTTC

 Good Morning All

My Time To Craft challenge this time is

Use Fibre(fiber)  Fabric Lace etc.

I made a Snippet roll which is used on a page in a journal, either as a pocket or a bellyband to hold an Envelope.

This is made from scraps of material, ribbon, lace, paper, buttons, charms, anything really.

This is it before I took it to the sewing maching and zigzag stitched it-

Once stitched it looks better I think.

Afew close ups.

I like to add a ribbon loop on the side to hang a dangle charm.

I use these, as I said, to make a bellyband.  It is glued at top and bottom onto a page and an envelope or journal card can be held underneath it.

Or, cut  a length of a make it into a pocket.

I love making these and keep a stash ready to use.

 Good Morning All

A recycled card to day.   I found this in some stuff I purchased from a lady who was getting rid of all her craft stuff due to ill health.

It looks like a Hunkydory topper and it says Thank You on the bauble.

It will go in the charity box so all for a good cause.

Happy Sunday Challenge

I had to cancel Fridays craft group as I had my cataract surgery on Thursday afternoon and wasn't sure how I would be.

I wasn't too bad but couldn't drive so I thought it best to cancel.

As last times challenge lasted for two weeks, I did set another one.

Masculine

 Good Morning All

As the theme over at MAWTT challenge is Masculine this month, here is another card I have made.

A very simple one really.

Paper from a 6x6 paper pad and a sentiment.

Can't get much easier than that can it??

I'm struggling to keep up with my posts to be honest as it is so hot here.  Summer has come early here on the Costa Blanca so I tend to stay in the living room with AC and fan on, so not much crafting really, other than what I can do on my lap.

But on a happier note, I did have a great visit to Uk to see my Mum and sisters.

My eye surgery was yesterday.  I had a cataract removed from my left eye so will be struggling for afew days I think

Masculine for MAWTT & Colour Outlawz Challenge

 Good Morning All

Moving Along With The Times Challenge this month is

Masculine

I made a couple for this one both different styles.

This one is a leftover piece of parchment, groovied a sentiment and added to navy card, patterned paper and pale blue card.

This one  5x7 and a topper I aquired when I bought a load of craft items from a lady finihing her crafting  time.

The backing paper is from an LOTV  8x8 paper pad.

Now onto the Tuesday  Outlawz Colour Challenge

This is the colour pallete to use

My card  -  I inked the backing card with Olive Ditress ink.

Then different  shades of plum and orange with a little blue.

Stamped the image and sentiment.

My cataract surgery is scheduled  for Thursday, so will have to see, literally, how it goes.

Heart Base Card for MTTC

 Good Morning All

My Time To Craft Challenge this time is

Heart Shaped Card Base

I made this gorgeous card for my eldest sisters Golden Wedding Anniversay.  I have since personalised it for her and her hubby.

I used a 8x8 card base and cut it into aheart shape.

I had to snip the bottom up so that it would stand up.

A diecut heart and champagne bottle and glasses. 

I tied pink paper ribbon around the heart before I glued it to the base.

I really am proud of this one.
