About Me

My photo
Alicante, Spain
Hi. I live in Spain with my partner. I am retired and LOVE it. I love life here but I do miss my family back in the UK, two sons and three sisters and my Mum. Crafting is my life, I do something every single day. In the past it has helped me get through some bad times in my life. One such bad time was when my first grandson died aged just 14 months. He had been born 8 weeks prem but was very healthy and was growing into a beautiful, bonny boy. It was such a shock when the call came. A day never passes when I dont think of him. I am now Nanna again to grand daughter, Hollie, born July 2012, and Tess born March 2016. This is my younger son and his partner. I now have another Grandson, Noah, born Nov 2013 to my elder Son and they have 3 daughters Aurora, born March 2015 and Arabella, born August 2017 and Arianna born 2019. Thanks for visiting and I hope you enjoy my makes. Please leave a comment so that I know you have visited me. I love reading them all. xxxx

Embellishments for Crafty Ribbons

Good Morning All

It is my turn to post for Crafty Ribbons Design Team.

As you know, I love making embellishments and here are afew more made with lovely Satin Ribbon
and Organza Ribbon from Crafty Ribbons Website.
Also these gorgeous Jampot Ribbon selections HERE

Pretty buttons from Crafty Ribbons too.

Here is a couple of cards I have sent to Crafty Ribbons for their display boards when they go to Craft Shows.

Crafty Ribbons hold their challenge on Facebook now, but well worth having a go to win a bundle of ribbon.

Craft Fayre did not do too well, quite poorly attended but I did cover the cost of the table.
And a big thank you to my mate Val J for coming along to help before she even unpacked her case from arriving back in Spain late Saturday night. xx

Hi Wendy,
Sadly there wasn't a lot to do at the Craft Fayre was there?
Unpacking and washing now done and looking forward to playing with the few craft goodies I bought.
I'm always impressed with your bows and the lovely embellishments you make. I think my fingers are too fat to do fiddly things!!!
See you Friday.xxx

Hi Wendy all the embellishments are stunning and I love the cards you have made. We had to make quite a diversion to get to the Crafter's Companion shop it is too far to visit regularly. I do hope they build some other stores soon. Take care. Hugs Jackie

Love all the ribbons and embellishments. I find that Craft Fayres can be very unpredictable. Sorry you didn’t do too well but good you covered your table money. I usually do one in November but haven’t heard anything this year.
