These are some pages from my Reverse Colouing Book

I may have shown some before, forgive me if that's so.

I have used some of these for backgrounds on my cards, they are too pretty not to really.

 I really like this one.

 And this one.

 Before doodling and see what you can in the colours and shapes.  Definitely  flowers in this one.

What do you think ?  Anyone else done this??

Hi

We finally had our Craft Group on Friday, although only afew of us.  Next week will be our last one for a while as the shop is reducing its hours for the Summer and Friday is one of their closed days.

So the challenge  this week is a sketch and this is my card.

I think it is Hunkydory. 

Mounted onto plain navy card and afew gems added to break in the background.

Colouring for MAWTT

 Hi

My 2nd post today is for Moving Along With The Times Challenge where the theme for this month  is 

To use a Colouring Medium

Well the only medium I use for colouring images  is Polychromo Pencils and I have made two cards for this one.

This one is a pre printed card from Inky something (I cant remember the full name)

I thought this would make a good Mans card.

This is one  on parchment paper where I put the image under the parchment and colour then there is no outline on the top, which I think looks good.

I really enjoy doing these as they dont take too long and I can do them on my laptray.

I bought the images from Etsy, cheap as chips.

OUTLAWZ Challenges

 Hi Everyone

My first post today is for the Outlawz Challenges.

This one is Anything But A Card so I have made some Envelopes from large book pages.  I use these for my Craft  groups little gifts.

I put a tab on the flap and punch a hole for either ribbon or twine to secure the closure.

The book I used for a Railways around the World as the pages were quite large.

I add some ephemera,  either quotes or images.

And this is what I put inside, a little pack of three choc covered  biscuits.

The theme is

So I kept mine simple and went with 'Happy Birthday'

Although I have not had the Craft Group for a while. Shop has been open but afew of my ladies have been away including myself, so it has not been happening.

The challenge has been happening and this week is

Waste Strips

 Hi

I have four cards to show you today.  All the same but different.

All using waste strips of coloured card and a simple stamped sentiment.

I saw this design on Pinterest.

I need to replanish my Man cards stock and I thought these would be good for men.

Mine is a tiny feather charm added to the twine tying the sentiment on.

Outlawz Reminder

 Hi

Today is remoder for Outlawz Twisted challenge and this month it's a colour set to work with.

I used strips of card for the background that match the  colours I think, although the camera does alter things abit.

Cupcake Inspirations DT

 Good Morning

Today is Cupcake Inspirations Challenge 

The theme is AG.

I used my Oxide Inks for the background and stamped some butterflies from AALL & CREATE No. #825

And added 3 of my punched butterflies.

I'm happy with how this turned out.

Bookmark Notebooks

 Hi

I showed these on my You Tube last week.

Bookmarks that include a Notebook and a pen holder too. Very handy.

Very often when I am reading, I have a thought and wish I had a pen and paper with me to make a note. This solves that problem.

Alos, I like to include a pen with a journal so it serves two purposes for me.

Fave Craft Item for MAWTT

Moving Along With The Times Challenge this month is

Favourite Craft Item or Tool, Die Stamp etc.

At present I am loving my Groovi parchment work again, ever since my fall, I have been doing alot of it.

Here are two that feature the Poppets collection of images and Grid work which I love doing and it's very effective too.

This is a circle grid with a pre coloured Poppet before adding a sentiment.

It still amazes me how piercing 4 holes and snipping gives this lovely cross.

This one is an un coloured poppet, which I have left just added afew gems.

Outlawz DT

 Hi Everyone.

1st of the month means new challenges and today is Outlawz Twisted and ABAC Challenges and later on there will be MAWTT.

1st today is Anything But  A Card for Outlawz.

This time we have a theme of 

Lets Play  Make Something from Childhood.

Now these paper beads bring back some memories.  I made a big tin of these using old magazines and my intention was to make a hanging door curtain, which never happened by the way!!!!

I make them into Dangles for my Journals

I start with pieces of paper, either printed or magazines.

I mark 1cm intervals at top and the bottom but not in straight lines, I alternate the marks so I end up with very long triangles.

I use a quilling tool as these are very small, if bigger I would use a cocktail stick or very fine knitting needle.

Ending up with these, glue on the end.

Then I cover with Modpodge or Clear Nail varnish. 

Then I store them in a takeaway box until needed.

I add different bits - beads, chain or small ephemera.

They look good hanging off journal pages and I love making them.

Now onto the Twisted Challenge.

Colour challenge

I used a digital image and an inky background from my Reverse Colouring book and scraps of offcuts, stamped sentiment and some leftover crystal art gems.

The camera does alter the colour because in real life they are very similar to the chart.
