Sunday Mojo 13

Good Morning All
I want to welcome my new followers and hope that you will join me  as and when I post, especially for my Sunday Mojo posts, as these are great fun for me and John, and I think you may find it interesting to see what two people come up with using the same goodies.

We missed last Sundays Mojo because I had my family over and did not step in my craft room all week.  So John saved all the goodies until this week and here is what he came up with.  Once again, it is outside my zone of usual crafting items.

Mostly material and a piece of grey card (cereal box stuff), also a piece of green felt and a small piece of red too.

ITEM number 1.

I decided to do something abit different and settled on a wall/door hanger.
I cut the grey card and used a Spellbinders edge die, and covered a narrower piece in green felt.  Then covered squares of card with the squares of material.

The proceeded to decorate -- I twisted some of the gingham fabric and frayed the edges abit and hot glued it to the edges.  Added roses to match the sentiment----

'Wont You Come Into My Garden
I would Like My Roses To See You'

I rolled some small bits of sacking to add to one of the bunches of roses.

Then added 'key' charms to some red ribbon.  The red buttons hide the lumps of glue.
CHALLENGES ----
The Hobby House Challenge # 1 - Anything Goes

I still had some bits left but then realised I had to make a 'Memory Book' for someone, and I thought John would not mind if I incorporated some of the material for this project, so here it is.

ITEM number 2.

My friend wanted a book with lots of Butterflies on.  She had seen this one and wanted one similar, but wanted pages of card so she could add her own photos.  And she wanted a concertina style, not  ring binders.

I uses the remainder of Johns pink gingham material to cover a piece of white card for the spine of the book, I thought it would hide and crease marks that occur with use.

And here is the inside.

And abit more.

 And a bit more.
I hope you will hop over to Johns next Door and see what he has done.  Also, he has just done his craft room up and it looks amazing and will make you jealous, I know I am.
Hope you are all having a lovely Sunday.
