Holidays for MAWTT

 Good Morning All

Moving Along With The Times Challenge this month is

Summer or Winter Holidays

I went with Winter and reminisced back to childhood, sitting around the open fire.

We used to roast chestnuts  on the fire, yum yum, not had them for a very long time.

I used an LOTV topper on top of Vellum sentiment paper.

Sentiment ribbon from Crafty Ribbons (link in sidebar)

Different parts of the world have different Christmas's.  Johns son is in Australia and they are getting the summer now so some people will be making  a summer card.

Here in Spain it is cold in mornings and evenings but we are still getting some very warm days.

  5. Hi Wendy,
thank you for a great challenge theme it did make me think outside the box and get my brain to work especially living alone I need too.
Your card has such a sweet image and a very wonderful design too.
Your write up about when you were a child brought back memories of mine and I remember we used roast Brazil Nuts and they were so tatsty.
No fires now to re-live those days and you can't beat a fire to cosy up to.
My Son has a wood burning stove in his hearth and that is so lovely to sit by and remeber old times.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

  6. Lovely card Wendy. We are having very dull weather where I am. Not much sun at all and need the light on a lot of the time just to see what you are doing. Take care and hope the back is improving.
