Crafty Ribbons DT & Happy Sunday Challenge

Good Morning All

It is my turn for a Crafty Ribbons creation today and so, when we had the outbreak of Corona virus you could not buy a face mask for love nor money so I decided to have a go at making my own.
I am not the greatest sewer but where needs must!!!
I followed a tutorial on You Tube or rather looked at afew then went for it.
I tried one but when I wore it it steamed my specs up.
So for this one I added a piece of wire across the nose and it is much better.
It is pleated, quite wide pleats and I used Seam binding as ties and stitched the wire inside it.
It was just wide enough but it serves the purpose I made it for.

As you can see, I can tuck it under my specs.
I would not like to have to wear it all the time but I suppose I would get used to it.
Better to be safe than sorry.
I  wash it each time I use it too

The seam binding comes in loads of colours so is great for adding to any creation.
