London Underground

Good Morning All
I was asked to make a card for a ladies Grandson, 11 years old.  She sent me a pic of his bedspread, underground network in London and a pair of footy boots on it.
!!!!!!!!!!
Now that was a challenge.
Anyway, I found an old underground map in an old diary, it did have a couple of marks on which I covered with sentiment tags !!!

She always likes them personalised too.
I stuck the shirt and 'Grandson' on a piece of acetate so that he could lift it to see the old map.  This was from 2010, I think, so it had probably changed by now.
She was pleased with it, which I,m glad about as I only made the one.  As you may know I normally make two cards when asked, just to give them a choice.

[Allsorts Challenge DT Blog] New comment on Blog followers

Found this on another Blog Guys which explains why everyone is losing followers :)

In 2011, we announced the retirement of Google Friend Connect for all non-Blogger sites. We made an exception for Blogger to give readers an easy way to follow blogs using a variety of accounts. Yet over time, we’ve seen that most people sign into Friend Connect with a Google Account. So, in an effort to streamline, in the next few weeks we’ll be making some changes that will eventually require readers to have a Google Account to sign into Friend Connect and follow blogs.

As part of this plan, starting the week of January 11, we’ll remove the ability for people with Twitter, Yahoo, Orkut or other Open Id providers to sign in to Google Friend Connect and follow blogs. At the same time, we’ll remove non-Google Account profiles so you may see a decrease in your blog follower count.

We encourage you to tell affected readers (perhaps via a blog post), that if they use a non-Google Account to follow your blog, they need to sign up for a Google Account, and re-follow your blog. With a Google Account, they’ll get blogs added to their Reading List, making it easier for them to see the latest posts and activity of the blogs they follow.

We know how important followers are to all bloggers, but we believe this change will improve the experience for both you and your readers.

  1. Looks like it is perfect for the little lad Wendy.

What Blogger failed to tell us when he made that announcement a few weeks back was that he started meddling with our followed back on 19th December, it's been movement ever since.

  2. What a great card Wendy. Love how you have picked up his interest. He will think this is so cool!

Blogger really has been a pain hasn't it? But I think it's actually Google as a whole that is the real problem. They really are Big Brother!!!!!

Yes, I've had about 3 disappear but I think Christine is right & its Google trying to take over the internet.......they're going to be withdrawing support for Windows XP on Chrome from April. If they think I'm buying a new laptop they can bleep off!
