Clean Craftroom

Good Morning All
I took these pice a cuple of weeks ago when I had completely cleaned and sorted out my craft room after having the window cleaners in to do inside and out.
You can see why I have to move everything for the window cleaners.  It was originally an open veranda and the previous owner had it all glassed in, so gets very, very hot in summer.

I bought the little veg. trolley on wheels a while ago and it is great for pulling upto the side of me and putting stuff I need  at hand.  Like one of the drawers with the colour of paper or card I am using at that time.  It leaves more of my desk space free to actually work on.  I did get to the point where my only workable space was my glass mat, now I'm determined to keep more space free to work and to keep it TIDY.

These are the two book cases behind me where I heep everything, alot is in plastic boxes and nearly all labelled.

And finally, this is my desk and to the left of this is a unit with cupboards where I keep my stamps and inks in one side and punches and odd bits of material in the other.  And on top is my Cut N Boss.
I love being in here now, I was getting to the point where I didn't want to craft as I was getting frustrated with it being so untidy and messy.
As you can see, when I'm sat at my desk I can see the world go by right outside the apartment.

  1. The question is Wendy, can you keep it that way, but how nice to have such a lovely light work space. The veg trolley is a great idea and wold be very useful at my end as well, might have to spent a little time searching the net for something similar.

  6. It must feel great to have everything organised and ready to hand now Wendy.. it all looks very neat and tidy! I can certainly empathise with a cluttered room… as mine is a mess… and some days it does put me off crafting! I keep plodding away with the sorting and tidying… progress is slow but I am making some headway at least. One day I will get it tidy and organised!!! Lol
Hope you have a nice evening!
    Big hugs, Sue B xx

  8. Looks brilliant, wish I had a window cleaner, when my Hubby retired he sacked the window cleaner, said he would do them himself, well he does, once a blue moon and then they always look worse after he has done them, sigh.

  11. Hi Wendy
Yikes....having sat on our friends balcony on the Costa del Sol, in Spring, with their glass "curtains" closed, I can only imagine how hot that room gets in the height of Summer.
Will take a photo of mine when its tidy..........it may be some time lol!
