On a Mission

Good Morning All
I have been on a mission this weekend, by that I mean I have been trying to use some of my stash, bits I dont particularly like, if you know what I mean.
I was given a load of stuff by John Next Door before he left for UK.  A lady had come into his shop and given him loads of boxes of stuff - Kanban kits, Create & Craft boxes etc etc.  As you know, I cannot throw anything away and as I make lots of cards for charities here, I am determined to use it all, even if it takes me years !!!! LOL.
I am NOT buying any more stuff other than essentials like glue, tape etc.
I took one pack of cards with me to craft club on Thursday so I thought I would carry on until all gone.  So I have been completing these this weekend and I will show these on my posts this week.

Today I wanted to show these cute boxes.

There are loads of tutorials on You Tube for milk carton boxes.  They stand about 14cm high and I have used all sorts of  stuff I have had for years. Small flowers bought on Ebay, large black one is one I made years ago using a die cut.  Scalloped squares were given to me before we moved here, in all different colours too, so I will be using these up.  A great way of using small bits of paper too.

I have decided to make 15 or 20 and give one to each member of the Slimming Club at Christmas, yet to decide what to put inside though.

They are big enough to put afew chocolates in so I will make one each for our Mums as they are coming to Benidorm with us for Christmas.  Although we dont normally buy gifts, as we will all be together on The Day, we have agreed to swap small gifts.

  1. Well done Wendy, I too have far too much stuff and still buy more LOL !!. I'm sure if all of us just used up what we had already got the craft companies would go out of business. Love the little boxes - but are you sure a little chocolate in each is good idea for your slimming club ladies ??? Have a lovely day - it's pouring down here in Kent today. Janice xx
