Use Acetate

Good Morning All

Firstly I want to send Best Wishes and Hugs to Jennifer Swandells at Krafty Keepsakes who has been taken into hospital for complete rest,  'Get Better Soon Jen'
                                   ************************************************

Saturday means it is Allsorts Challenge day and the theme is 'Use Acetate' and has been set by Helene.

I embossed my acetate using a Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder, I have never done this before and I was really pleased with the effect.  I put silver peel-off strips on the top and bottom edges to make it more visible.

Inside, very CAS, a decoupage mono flower image and I stamped 'Thinking of You' straight onto the card.

On the outside I glued a black bow and added a couple of my tags tied on with twine.  I,m quite pleased with this one.
We have two sponsors this week -----
Crimson Cloud  will give a winner 3 packs of die cuts.
And
My Heart Pieces  will give 4 digis.

  7. Hi Wendy. Love the use of the acetate. Really good result. I've never embossed it myself so another thing to have a go of.
Hope the lady in question is ok.

  8. wow that looks really cool! I do the same thing sometimes. but then go and paint over the inside of accetate with acryllic paint. Let it dry for a few second and then gently wipe the paint away. The inside of the circles fills with paint so you have clear accetate background with white spots =)
