Forever Friends 'Anything Goes' Midway reminder

Good Morning All
This is to remind you that the Forever Friends Monthly Challenge is half way through and for my DT card I chose a Bugaboo image called 'Butterfly' Tag.

I made a crochet butterfly and stuck it on a Cheery Lynn heart die cut.  To be honest alot of the other bits were on my desk just waiting to be used.  When I cut anything, I always cut two or three and I always keep the waste bits, which I have used here on the corners.

CHALLENGES ------
Flutterby Wednesday # 239 - Open
Catch the Bug Challenge  - 3 Strikes

And here is my Forever Friends creation, I have tried to do something a little different.

 A base 6 x 6  white card folded at 6" then 7.5", 9" and 10.5.

I bought a brilliant Forever Friends pack when I was in the UK at Easter called 'New Arrival' ultimate Die cut pack and it had loads and loads of stuff in it - Diecuts, sentiments, papers and letters, so all the images and sentiments are from this pack.  I also bought a lovely pack of blue pearl embellishments including the stars.

Crochet hearts with a pearl centre.
Ribbon from stash and two heart shaped brads.

This is the side view showing how it stacks up and I glued a little stand on the back.

This is the back and biggest layer.  I use X Cut Large dies for the shape.

This is the second layer, I used different shades of blue card and inked the edges of the pale ones.

Finished card decorated with crochet hearts, ribbon, heart brads, heart button with twine tied through it and blue pearls and stars.

I hope you like my cards and they have given you a little inspiration to hop over and join in this months challenge.
