Better

 Good Morning All

Well I think I am finally over my chest infection, thank goodness I got some antibiotics as quick as I did.

We had abit of a scare with Mum last week too.  I couldn't go over because of the chest infection but we had the call that the home were putting in the End of Life care as she was unresponsive.

So we were prepared for the call.

Then one of my sisters called to say her daughter (Mums grandaughter) had been in to sit with her and she was sat in chair having her teeth cleaned!!!

She had a total turnaround and said she wanted to see in her birthday which was Friday 3rd, she was 99 years old.

She had a great day with lots of visitors too.

A couple of cards today, using the same stamp.  I used a silver ink pad I bought at Elipacrafts shop stamped on a dark blue card.

Mounted onto Hearts embossed mirri card.

Same on this one but mounted onto spotty paper and pale blue cardstock.

  1. Pretty tone on tone cards Wendy. Pleased things settled with your Mum, know that scare, had it with Dad, three days in a coma then went on for another three years.

  3. Gorgeous cards, I love the effect of that silver ink and the contrast that it creates with those blue tones, it's fantastic. Great to read you feel better and that your mum is ok. Hugs, María.
