Anything but a Card for Allsorts

 Good Morning All

Allsorts Challenge time again and Tracy has chosen a theme of

Anything But A Card.

I  made a Notebook and put it  inside a pocket.

This is for a raffle prize for my next Junk Journal class at the local Craft Shop.

I always give a prize and a small gift box like I do for my Craft Club ladies.

This is the finished item.

I made the pocket from Kraft card and used some of the wrapping paper I bought in Alicante.  I added a vellum pocket at the bottom with a couple of butterflies.

This is the notebook.
I decorated the front with ephemera from Luise Heinzl on Etsy.

I used coffee dyed and spritzed papers for the writing  pages and made a pocket on the inside and back covers.

I stitched the papers in and added butterflies to the remaining threads.

Inside the back cover I added a mini notebook too.

I had 4 ladies join me in the class in November and they all wanted another class  so we scheduled another for next week.
At this class I gave this notebook as a prize and Louise, the lady sat on the right, won it and she was made up with it.

Chocolate Baroque - Sailor Jim stamp for a prize

Chocolate Baroque is a small independent art and craft company, based in the historic market town of Barnard Castle in County Durham in the North-East of England and is owned and run by Lesley Wharton.

We design our own range of natural rubber art stamps from Sue's hand drawn originals, complemented by typography from Lesley.  The rubber stamps are made in house, by David, to our very exacting quality standards. And nothing gets past his eagle eye!
